I just finished watching the American version of Dark Water. I have to tell you, I don't know what exactly to think about it. I want to say it's good but part of me says it isn't.
Mostly due to the fact that I didn't get the ending. I love Asian horror flicks. I have seen Ringu 1, 2, and 0 (and no, that isn't a typo). I think Ringu 1 was the best, personally.
Dark Water was a remake of Hideo Nakata's film of the same name. I want to see the original, but I have to order it on Amazon since any stores in Colorado don't carry it.
Okay, here's my question:
When the little girl, Ceci, is in the elevator, she gets a supernatural expierence from someone who loved her (I'm not saying who that someone is for fear of spoiling the flick). Does this make a point Ceci was a reincarnation of that other girl that died?
It was a good film until that nasty shower scene came. Then it confused me, to the point where I felt like screaming "WHAT'S GOIN' ON?!?!?!"
I get confusing endings, truly, I do. I'm the only one out of my horror geek friends that could explain what happend at the end of Sometimes They Come Back...Again (it's aweful, should come with a noose).
So, can someone explain it to me, please?
