Script to prompt a link?

On this forum, how do you insert a link to something without showing the link address itself? For example, I see some messages with the words "click here," or "link." And when you click on to "link" it takes you to that Web site.

This forum has an "insert link" feature which enables the poster to paste the URL address to a Web site, but it doesn't have a "script prompt" feature. So how y'all do dat? Type a word (script) to prompt a link?:lala:

Type the text you want then highlight it and click this http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/editor/createlink.gif insert your link to the pop up window and your highlighted text will then link to your url.

Remove the space after the first bracket:

BTW, if it doesn't work, check to be sure the URL wasn't corrupted when copied.

Oops! I put my foot in my mouth on that one. I of course meant to say that the script-prompt feature doesn't always work for me.
