Rioting continues for third night in France

VILLIERS-LE-BEL, France (AP) — Youths rampaged for a third night in the tough suburbs north of Paris and violence spread to a southern city late Tuesday as police struggled to contain rioters who have burned cars and buildings and — in an ominous turn — shot at officers.

A senior police union official warned that "urban guerrillas" had joined the unrest, saying the violence was worse than during three weeks of rioting that raged around French cities in 2005, when firearms were rarely used.

Bands of young people set more cars on fire in and around Villiers-le-Bel, the Paris suburb where the latest trouble first erupted, and 22 youths were taken into custody, the regional government said. In the southern city of Toulouse, 20 cars were set ablaze, and fires at two libraries were quickly brought under control, police said.

The unrest showed anger still smolders in France's poor neighborhoods, where many Arabs, blacks and other minorities live largely isolated from the rest of society.

As usual, the drive by media does its best to cover up un-PC facts that might suggest the unpalatable to the world's snots...buried in the story they barely allude to the miscreants...

"poor"...then confessing a bit more to the reader "Arab, black, and other minorities"...then merely calling the criminal youth who hid from police "minority".

Notice that they avoid the WORD "Muslim"? Or are we to believe it was Arab non Arab christians who are rioting as well?

The mistake was in having the cops patrolling those neighborhoods in the first place. Let 'em rob, rape, fight and kill each other. They're a bunch of savages. Let 'em be savages. Use the cops to keep them contained within a perimeter and that's all, instead of sending them in to control these freaks. The cops' lives are worth more than these savages are.

Anything that decreases that population is a good thing.

I would have believed, that if the rioters had been stomped out a couple of years ago, with the program continuing. Until I see it, they are as cowardly as our freshly-castrated Republican party is against the stinking Democrats.
