SAN JOSE, Calif. — Online pornography hunters' Internet adventures are already fraught with danger from malicious code many porn sites use to commandeer visitors' machines or steal personal data.

Now comes a scheme some researchers say amounts to extortion: One site's threat to disable visitors' computers with relentless pop-up ads if they don't pay for a subscription they were automatically signed up for after a free trial.

You get what you pay for, and sometimes what you have to pay for. Always look closely at those free trial offers. Most of the ads are drummed up by modern-day college graduate skunks who can't even tell you where China is located, but they know the con game in and out. As soon as you join up any site that gives you a free trial, immediately upon being okayed, advise them through their site that you wish to cancel the continuation of the "free" offer, thus leaving you with what you originally asked for. If you do not do this immediately, you could very well forget. OOPS.

The site actually warns visitors they will be billed as full members — and lose full use of their computers if they don't — unless they cancel the subscription within the trial period.

Considering recently released medical reports that conclude that Nevada based brothels have never had their girls contract a single case of HIV, you could almost arrive at the assumption that you are safer renting a prostitute in a regulated brothel than you are jacking off to online porn!
