Almost all of these are not online straw polls. We are having a straw poll in St. Louis soon. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

Prove those stats wrong if you will my lady. Those polls are public knowledge and can be verified individually.

you and others call him a liar...the purden of proof is on you.

Besides I have posted articles about some of those polls before and you all ridiculed me.

We shall see.

It's not up to me to prove your posts. It's up to you. If you post it you have to back it up. I realize you can't but that IS how it goes.

Meh, Paul only got second in San Diego, there is still hope for ya.

I still say that polls that require people to actually do more than answer a phone have more credence than one were you have to rely on the pollster telling you their results that you cant really verify

THEBIRD

No many of those are not. They are held by county and city GOP organizations and the results published at events. For example, the San Fran GOP held theirs about a two weeks ago and so many people showed up (Ron Paul supporters) that they had to cancel it. They weren't prepared to tally that many votes.

These are not all online polls...in fact most you have to show up in person to vote....like I said, St. Louis GOP is having theirs in a couple of weeks and I have to travel to a nearby church to cast my vote.

Dream on Suz.

I will leave the dream world to you. I live in the real one where Ron Paul voted to send my husband to war then tried to make sure he didn't survive it by taking away what he needed to do the job.

Hell the last AOL poll had Paul leading with 29% with around 13000 votes cast. I dont have a link for it though. if you have AOL its easy enough to look up though. Polls can be manipulatred though: we all know that. The only ones that really matter are the actual elections. Like I have said, Its going to be a very interesting election cycle.

He voted to send your husband to war....not to establish an entirely new network of bases in the middle east that will still be here in 30 years bleeding our economy dry.

No one wants to keep your husband out of harms way more than Ron Paul. THAT is a fact. You can see it however you want too but the fact remains that if Ron Paul wins your husband will be home and thats a hell of a lot safer place than anywhere else.

Let me give you an example of bleeding our economy dry.

When I was in Germany in the Mechanized infantry. We would go out on deployment training for two weeks. During that time, if a Bradley or Abrams ran over a tree, the German govt. would charge the US govt. $10,000 per tree destroyed. WTF, didn't we conquer this freezebox of a country and now if we destroy something during training, my tax dollars go to pay for it??!?!

So what is it going to be like in Iraq in 30 years.....if we run over a cactus or some stupid palm tree, are we going to pay the Iraqi govt money? We are bleeding ourselves to death....We are expanding like an empire and unlike the Empires of old, we are handing out OUR US dollars to the folks we conquer along the way as a way to buy their frendship. F'd up!

AMERICA FIRST. Bring your husband home...put him on the border and let him shoot drug smugglers and terrorist.

And yet you would rather support someone that would like to keep your husband under the gun regardless. Do you want him home or not?

Suzie
12-15-2007, 07:20 PM
My husband is home (no thanks to Ron Paul) and the money he voted to cut off didn't have anything to do with stopping the war it had to do with caring for our troops and providing what they need to be safe and do the job. Even when they came home the buildings they returned to here in this country didn't even have heat in them and they needed the money Ron Paul kept fighting ... slowing down and playing politics with the lives of the men who were still on the battle field needed . You can sugar coat it all you want but he still stabbed these men in the back.

His vote wasn't to stop the war that wasn't even a part or mentioned within what he voted against, his vote was to endanger the lives of the people he sent to war just to play his miserable little political game for the moveon.org types like himself.

Ok lets not bullshit each other. You are from a military family, so am I. When is your husband due to go back? And do you really think that this will all be resolved before he goes back? I dont. Also, the money that you are talking about: You and I both know that it isnt going to the actual people fighting but rather companies that are over charging for their pathetic excuse for service in the region. There is no reason to extend the fleecing that is going on from the likes of Halliburton and others.

You say it is Ron Paul that is against your husband and his troops but the reality is that Paul got misled once and voted wrong once. He has since rectified that mistake. How long will it take you to come to your sences? After the funeral?

You are disgusting. I am sure you and Ron Paul are hoping for a funeral. But my soldier won't be there. You are as slimy as Paul.

Voted WRONG??? if he is too stupid to know how to do his job as a congressmen why would ANYONE want him to be their President.

You are disgusting. That's par for the course with Paulbots, who share lip space on his glutei, and who mindlessly champion that loser's Web-focused "campaign" on every board that will tolerate them (official Paulophile strategy).

It's one thing to support offbeat, also-ran candidates, and quite another to attempt to flood a board with a tsunami of "Paul is God and I am his prophet!" bullshit. It's wearing thin.

I have no problem with Paul voting to take on the War on Terror and he has never said that vote was a mistake to my knowledge. There is not a problem with attacking our enemies.

Paul feels that it is a mistake to establish bases all around the world, especially in places that will never stop fighting among each other. There is no point.

Bush thinks that him and Condi can somehow organize some kind of peace over there. Bush is a retard.

The Title of this thread is NON-ONLINE Polls. AOL does not exactly fall in that group. When Regestered Voters are polled, not internet paulbots, then Ron Paul does not make a ripple. Get a clue guy, Ron Paul has a small LOUD following that does not care that he voted to cut off Funding to our soldiers while they were being shot at!

I got news for you Paulbots... In 2004 approx 123 Million votes were cast for POTUS, 121.5 of them for TWO candidates. Spamming straw polls doesn't translate into the 65 million votes that will be necessary to win a head to head matchup with a 'Rat or approx 45 Million required to win as an 3 way Ind.

Please explain just what path his campaign will use to hit either one of those benchmarks...

This should be good!!

Representative Ronald Ernest 'Ron' Paul REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY RESPONSES TO CITIZENS ON ISSUES THROUGH THE 2008 POLITICAL COURAGE TEST WHEN ASKED TO DO SO BY

Key national leaders of both major parties including:

John McCain, Republican Senator
Geraldine Ferraro, Former Democratic Congresswoman
Michael Dukakis, Former Democratic Governor
Bill Frenzel, Former Republican Congressman
Richard Kimball, Project Vote Smart President

News organizations throughout the nation also urged candidates to supply their issue positions through the Political Courage Test.Representative Ronald Ernest 'Ron' Paul (TX) (http://www.vote-smart.org/npat.php?can_id=296)

What is he afraid of, Paulbots? What does he have to hide? Is he concerned that if the voters find out what he really believes, his chances will change from slim to none?

Straw Poll: A nonofficial, nonscientific study of voter preferences in a presidential election.http://www.teachervision.fen.com/elections/vocabulary/2678.html

A straw poll or straw vote is a vote with nonbinding results: a practice vote. Straw polls provide important interactive dialogue among movements within large groups, reflecting trends like organization and motivation... Among political bodies, straw polls often are scheduled for events at which many people interested in the polling question can be expected to vote. Sometimes polls conducted without ordinary voting controls in place (i.e., on an honor system, such as in online polls) are also called "straw polls"....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_poll
