This is what I call Fire in the Belly!
Wow if you want to be inspired listen to this introduction of Ron Paul at an Alabama Straw Poll. The first 20 seconds or so is Juliani's intro but then the fireworks began so turn on your sound and sit tight you'll really enjoy this! Especially you southerners!
What a great speech for Freedom.
Straw Poll in Alabama

And?
Speechless huh? Kinda throws out the window the notion put forth by Texan and others on here that the only supporters of Ron Paul are granola eating george soros liberals.
Those folks cheering him on in Alabama are red blooded, gun owning christian conservative sick and tired of our politically correct nanny government. Nothing more.

Speechless huh?Why respond to it?
No doubt that means that the senile old fart will therefore be elected in a landslide.
BTW, if the twit would stay away from the Mexican grub, the "fire in the belly" would go out. And an Alka Seltzer would help.

yep...Par again Mr. Doom.
Don't debate the contents of the speech concerning over spending, United Nations, gun ownership, taxation, over-reaching government, and mis-use of tax dollars.
Instead attack the preacher by calling him an old fart in need of stomach medicine.
Point taken.

He has no credibility. You might be dumb enough that the fact escapes you, but not without cause is this forum here as a way to keep the Paul crap out of the serious forums.

Anyone who calls for removal from the UN has instant credibility with me.
Anyone who calls for removal of the income tax has instant credibility with me.
Anyone who calls for arming our border has instant credibility with me.
Anyone who calls for preserving our 2nd Amendment has instant credibility with me.

Sadly, way back 25 years or so ago, when Ron Paul was still sane, he was a Reagan conservative with plenty of credibility. But that was before the Democrat state legislature gerrymandered him out of office. He was so depressed about being kicked out of office that he went off the deep end. He hasn't been sane since. Consequently, he has lost all the credibility he had back then.

How about a guy who promises he won't run 3rd party?
How about people who support a guy who promises not to run 3rd party then laugh about the plan to do it?
How about a guy who hungers for a line photo of him with Bill McCullom then throws his candidate under the bus?
What is it that you think gives you a righteous platform?

It's really not that "out there" as you and others seem to think. Blowback is real, and it is a fact that every policy that we create, foreign or domestic, has blowback.
Some of those instances are more serious than others.
But we have already been over this discussion, and quite heatedly I might add.

The US policy of simply existing seems to give terrorists enough reason to attack. Does Ron Paul suggest we all kill ourselves to placate the terrorists?

No credibility?????? Are you kidding???
The more our politically correct president signs into law pork budgets like he did this week and non-sense energy bills that increase regulations on light bulbs (for pete's sake) and exist only to please the tree hugging left, the more the message of Ron Paul will hit home with Angry ANGRY PISSED OFF BEYOND ALL MEASURE CONSERVATIVES!!!
Hell, Paul raised another 200,000 on his website today alone. The crowd is growing. Call that Care Bear of a president that we elected and thank him for sending the Grand Ole Party into the toilet.
No credibility......HA!

Blowback is real, and it is a fact that every policy that we create, foreign or domestic, has blowback. That's a liberaloony rationalization for terrorism: we were attacked on 9/11 because of what WE did. Only leftist assholes and Paulbots make that claim.
<hr>
Hell, Paul raised another 200,000 on his website today alone.Again you point out that there are fools who are willing to throw their money into the sewer, and again you refuse to respond to my question about what he's going to do with it. So I'll ask it again.
WHY does the money mean
that he is electable, and
HOW is he going to use it
to be elected?
Paul is a loser, a fringe-area also-ran who has zero chance of being the POTUS. All the money in the world won't buy an election. Soros discovered that. And you're a pathetic, hopeless lot if you must constantly tell us how much money his lunatic campaign is raising as your "proof" of how good he is.
THEBIRD

Doc, he is only raising the money when Bush continues to bow to the politically correct and sign legislation like he just did. People get fed up and they cling to the message that Paul has about decreasing the size and power of government.
That's how he gets the money and money is attributed to the size of the support backing his message.
You or I may not agree with his message on the war...but if we don't start fighting battles here at home...the war won't matter anymore.

More money, especially record breaking amounts = more media exposure = more awareness = more grassroots support = more votes = win primaries.
That's what it all means.

As I have said before, the idea that Muslims hate us because I can drink a beer after work or my girlfriend can drive a car is just asinine. It takes something much greater to motivate a person to dedicate his or her life to such a dubious and jingoistic cause. But I'm really not into diverting another thread to that topic.

More money, especially record breaking amounts = more media exposure = more awareness = more grassroots support = more votes = win primaries.I was of course well aware of what "war chests" are used for in politics. That being so, do you have any illusion that he will in fact win primaries? The first part of the question, why the ability to raise cash from Paulites translatres to his being electable, is still open.
Ross Peror had a chest of over $100 million (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/1992/06/29/76615/index.htm) in 1992. All he did was divide the vote and give the WH to the BJ Billy. At "best", Paul will be another spoiler that will put the Clinton co-presidents back into the Oval Office for four or eight more years.

As long as you are a non-Muslim who is not under the domination of Islam, you are the enemy.

Obviously you do not learn from your mistakes. By voting for Paul you will assist Hitlery to get back in the White House. So, you are in effect voting for another Clinton. Didn't Perot teach you people anything? The damage Guliani or Rommney "might" do is nothing compared to what Hitlery "will" do. Besides, the only true Conservative is on another thread, I suggest you get sane, get over the betrayal and give him your support. A man like him, that is that grounded and sensible, is the only hope for this country to continue down the proper path.
