Curious to see how strange people are, you can tell a little about someone by what they listen to. So what does your music collection look like. Post a list of the CD's in your music library.

My music collection is backed up on a spare HD in my system, and all my CD's are ripped into MP3's so I have backups for any CD that gets damaged, and so I can listen to any of my CD's while messing around on the computer. It's a long list, I'll try posting it in a single thread, but I may have to break it into multiples.

As of this moment, I have enough music on my HD to play continuously for 2 and a half weeks without listening to the same song twice.... :D

Umm... well to list my CDs I would have to bring my CD tower over here to the computer to read the labels off and type them up. I just may do that one of these days. I may talk myself into doing it for this thread. I don't know.

Anyway, something else I've done though is, in 2005 and 2006 I made 12 music CD with my computer. First I made up a CD of favorite Moody Blues stuff including a bunch of rarities. Then I made up a CD of favorite Jethro Tull stuff. Meanwhile I used my Bearshare (file-sharing) program and downloaded tons of songs that I knew I liked but weren't on any of my CDs, casettes or albums. I would've had to buy whole CDs just for one song in order to get most of them. Eventually I made up 8 CDs containing all those songs, plus a couple favorite songs off of some existing CDs in my collection. I also made up 2 CDs containing 31 different versions of Nights in White Satin done by groups and artists other than the Moody Blues. One of those 2 CDs contains 4 versions of Scarborough Fair, including the one by Simon & Garfunkle.
