Yes, I've started the Favorite Writers thread and the Favorite Horror Movies thread, now I'm starting the Favorite Presidents thread. I'm having a hard time understanding why there's no posts in this forum. I think I'm the only thread-poster in this forum. Perhaps I should be a moderator...
just kidding. I don't have a lot of free time to enforce rules harshly on people.
Anyway, here are my favorite presidents, in no special order:
Dwight D. Eisenhower:
Yes, I like Ike. He was a very Reagan-like president and everybody liked him. I don't know about now, but everyone like him back then, even the democrats.

Ronald Reagan:
He has to be among one of the best conservatives this country has ever had. Must I say more?
"My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you I just signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes."- Reagan
John F. Kennedy:
I know he was a guy that slept around on his wife and that his family has slowly morphed in to mutants. I like him because he had two things in the political world: honesty and guts. I know I would've bombed Cuba during that intense Thirteen Day period. He screwed up on the Bay of Pigs invasion and apologized for it. Name one democrat now that can apologize for a thing like the Bay of Pigs invasion, I dare you.

Harry S. Truman:
Truman, unlike modern democrats, had the guts to use a nuclear weapon. If he were alive today, he would be a right-winger, I bet my future registration on it.
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you."- Truman (Perhaps Ron Paul should see that quote)
Abraham Lincoln:
He's not a hero for freeing slaves, he's a hero for keeping the union in one piece. I heard somewhere that he founded the republican party.
"No man is good enough to govern another man without that other's consent." -Lincoln (Directed towards slaves perhaps, but I take this as a pro-smaller government message)
Bill Clinton:
Just Kidding... don't kill me...
"I did not have sex with that woman." -Bubba
Okay, there's my list so far, I don't want to a posting hog. What are your favorite presidents, why?
