Pictures/graphics in Signatures

Argh! Does a member have to have a certain ammount of posts before they can put a pic/graphic in their signature? I've tried to upload from my PC, upload from photoshop and even use HTML to directly put it in, but to no avail.

The best I can get is: Your signature image(s) are too large. The maximum dimensions are 150w x 150h in pixels and the maximum filesize is 0.


Well the image doesnt exceed WxH in pixels. And what's with this? "maximum filesize is 0 " ? :question:

Have you tried using photobucket, and linking the image from there?

That would fall within the 150x150 pixel range, and the the 0 filesize restrictions.

I had the same error message until I went from Junior Member to Member.

Here's a screen shot. I added an arrow in the black box. It's no big deal. :D Waiting to go from "Junior Member" to "Member" is no biggie.

That's just the message. What does it list the limit as when you try to upload?

UserCP >> Edit Signature >> "Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer "

The message below the box should read "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)."

Junior Member is just a title. It has nothing to do with permissions.

Where does the picture come from? Is it web based?

Yes those of us with laptops were getting the whole screen covered with signatures. So a limit was in place. The file size shouldn't be zero though. I can see if I can fix it.

199x63 pixels, 6190 bytes.That's not a valid image filename. Try taking the "?t=1198862046" off the end of it.

Thats odd. I just did a straightforward copy/paste from photobucket when I put the URL in the message above. Never had trouble before. Oh well. :halo:
