Huck claims John Bolton as a foreign policy adviser. That’s news to John Bolton. (http://hotair.com/archives/2007/12/28/huck-claims-john-bolton-as-a-foreign-policy-adviser-thats-news-to-john-bolton/)
And again. Oops! Huck did it again…
A few weeks back, Mike Huckabee touted Frank Gaffney among his foreign policy advisers.
< snip , snip >
More recently, Huckabee has also claimed that former Ambassador John Bolton is among his advisers.
Uhhhh ... NOT!
Was what Romney had (a la walking with MLK) contagious? :smirky:

I know, Prez.
Two months ago I thought I had found my candidate. I even donated to his campaign. How wrong I was.

I'm sorry, Prez.
I know, I took a shot at the Huck in another thread without thinking that it might be a wee bit of a cold one.. I never worked up the nerve to back off there when I shoulda.
I really do Not think he's such a bad guy, and I know why so many folks still support him. I also don't think he's deliberately trying to fool anyone about who and what he is. All the facts are right there if anyone wants to find them (he's not about shredding everything ala the other Arkansas wonders).
But he's got some real savvy campaign managers who know (well, usually) how to keep him safely within his comfort bubble and stay appealing to social conservatives (like my Dad).
And when it comes to those Social issues, he IS a great candidate.
But I'm guessing that you finally realized it's all about the total package. :listen:
Hey, don't feel too bad, I wasted an entire vote once, primaries and all, on a Complete loser (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Perot) and ended up contributing to one of the worst periods in this country's history. :blushy:
I think Huck would still make one hell of a cabinet official, and I can think of any number of posts in there where he'd do this country good. :thumb:

Who?
I was...WAS...a big Huckabee booster.
Now I am pinning my dwindling hopes on FDT, even though he is down to 12% in Iowa and down to 3% in New Hampshire.

I wish I could talk myself into being a Fred head.... but I am almost poisoned against the man because of how I perceive his attitude.
I guess I am gonna vote for Rudy.

Prez, you woke up to reason. :claps:
Elgalad, I'm sure you'll get threre, if you keep working at it  .
C'mon, guys. Please. This is not the time for kissy-feely, can't-we-all-just-get-along? mush. Huck sucks as candidate. I don't give a damn if he's Mother Theresa. As someone once said of (then) Governor Thomas E. Dewey: "He is a fine man. So is my Uncle Morris. My Uncle Morris shouldn't be president; neither should Dewey."
Well, the same applies to Governor Huckabee, AND to any other "nice" but unqualified runner.
Enough of all this "He's so good. Pity he's an idiot" stuff. Let's focus on those who actually HAVE the qualifications of making a good president and stop wasting time with the ones who do not.
And mega kudos to those who admit their errors in time.
