As a registered "Decline to State"--i.e., independent--in the Golden State, I am permitted to vote in either the Democratic or American Independent party's primary. I have chosen to vote in the Democrtic primary. But for whom should I vote? Should I write in Fred Thompson or some other acceptable Republican (I believe I can do that)? Or should I vote for the Democrat that seems to have the best chance of taking out Hillary (remember that California's Democratic primary is not winner-take-all, like the Republican primary is or at least used to be)?

Honey, any of the other demunist clowns running for prez are just Hillary Lite, so why not abstain altogether? The difference of views is minimal, and the amount of damage the can do to the country is the same.

I wouldn't bother, if I were you.

I'm thinking that by voting for one of the other Democrats, there would be a slight increase in the possibility of a divided convention and a free-for-all (figuratively speaking, anyway) for the nomination, which might leave the libs sniping at each other after the get-together as much as they were in '68, '72, etc.

Years ago, I used to write myself in if I didn't like any of the 'Party' career politicians. Try it and see if it works.

Edwards. He has enough support in this jacked state that it may be divided between the three of them.

Naw. Write in Thompson. That should do wonders... For real.

I could write in Giuliani, McCain, or one of the other Republicans who often vote like Democrats.

Maybe I should write in Ron Paul and really blow their minds.

For hating the man, you all sure do bring him up often.

Ralph Nader...

Ralph Abernathy...

Ralph Cramden...

Seriously I personally recommend Maggie's advice... But if you want to know who is most likely to waste Hilary, I think Obama has the MO today...

Who should I vote for in CA's Democratic presidential primary Well, lussee. You don't wanna vote for a Commie. You don't wanna vote for a corrupt candidate. No old tired faces. No known liars. No untried, unproven quantities. No traitors or sellouts. No thieves. No America haters.

Dang. You can't for any of them.
