'Most Americans know the forces of terrorism will not rest'

GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson is warning the biggest threat facing America isn't economic or social or even political: It's the danger from nuclear terrorism.

"That the years ahead will be dangerous needs no elaboration from me," Thompson, a former U.S. senator from Tennessee, says in a new video prepared for Iowa voters who will caucus later this week.

"Most Americans know the forces of terrorism will not rest until a mushroom cloud hangs over one of our cities," he said.

I'm not sure who to nuke in this case, the terrorists or the wing-nuts?

Nuking the Wing-Nuts first gets my vote.

If it wasn't for them and their willing accomplices --the LeftSream Media, we would have had this War on Terror already whipped.

Can anyone imagine what the world we live in today would look like if the power of the NYT, PMSNBC, ABC, ROOTERS, CBS, DailyKos, Huffington Post, et al, had existed in 1941?

Can anyone imagine what the world would look like today if that treasonist bastard, Ron Paul had been running his ugly mouth in 1945?

We'd all be speaking either German or Japanese, depending on where we live. Germany would have occupied the eastern half of the U.S. and Japan would have occupied the western half.

I'm sure when it does, some leftist jackass will want to try to talk them into not doing it again......Not the simple Mikey... The Left's response will likely be to demand that WE disarm and destroy all our nukes... You see in the Lefty mindset that's a judicious response...

Nuking the Wing-Nuts first gets my vote. That would make the rest easier.

Aparently Fred doesn't agree with you that this is just a contempary generational situation.

When did I say that, and in what context?

Take a any point in our history before 9/11 and plot a course, draw an arrow, and its pointing to growing problems on the upswing.

Hmmm. Looks okay to me.

Seriously though, the growing problems you cite have been cited by every single generation. It's a matter of perception. Contemporary problems always seem to be bigger. (Rhino)

When I listened to Fred he says he got into this race because of the seriousness, and growing threat facing America. Not because of some hunger to be President.
But I hope your right and it is just more of the same old thing every generation faces. The contemporary Thing.

And the fact that that post (http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/showthread.php?t=52142) has absolutely zero to do with what I posted here doesn't bother you one little bit?

C'mon, D4R. Try to stay on topic and forget the strawman arguments.

About what????? You haven't established a connection to anything he has said. What Fred said, as indicated in your post, has absolutely nothing to do with "Nuking the Wing-Nuts first". I have no clue what you're trying to say here, and apparently no one else does either.

I have no idea what you mean in supporting Freds deep concerns about Irans nuclear plans and threats to America, while at the same time calling the problems America is heading into, simply generational, no big deal.

Maybe if you clarified your position in relaton to Freds concerns it would help to shed some lignt on the reasons Fred is having trouble getting his important message across.

I have no idea what you mean in supporting Freds deep concerns about Irans nuclear plans and threats to America, while at the same time calling the problems America is heading into, simply generational, no big deal.I made no such statements here.

Maybe if you clarified your position in relaton to Freds concerns it would help to shed some lignt on the reasons Fred is having trouble getting his important message across.I advanced no such position here. If you want to debate the topic of the other thread, then do it there. But since you still have posted no connection to it whatsoever with the post in this thread that you originally responded to, I have no way of knowing what you are getting at.

Here, I'll help you out.

Lubbock - Nuking the Wing-Nuts first gets my vote.

Me - That would make the rest easier.

You - Aparently Fred doesn't agree with you that this is just a contempary generational situation.

You might notice that there is absolutely zero mention in the first two posts about Fred or contempary generational situations. So, as I stated before, what the f**k does your reply have to do with what we were discussing???????????

Wow, only seeing Rhino's last post it seems some people find ways to derail a thread so badly it would have to be split into about 12 threads to have a single topic in each. I don't even know what to respond to here ... moving on.

This thread reminds me of the scene in Bruce Almighty where Jennifer Aniston opens the bathroom door and sees the dog sitting on the toilet reading the paper. You close the door, then go back for a second look, all the while wondering why you did... :smirky:
