:unsmile: Since I got my new computer in September, I haven't been able to open any pictures that I've taken on my cell phone. I transmit them to the computer, which then identifies the images as "psmil" files, & says it's unable to open them. Anyone got any advice?

Those aren't images. They're sort of like directory pointers.

SMIL is synchronous multimedia integration language, and it offers a set of instructions for displaying multimedia elements. If the phone has a removable memory card, you might try a card reader (http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=516872). It's treated as just another drive.
