Here is an interesting trend; proof that most of Rupaul's base are snot nosed male malcontents with a horrible record on getting out to vote!

Let's face it. The ONLY reason Paul is doing well in the polls is that democreeps are pretending to be Republicans and are hoping for another Ross Perot to help another criminal clintoon into the White House. The clintoons know they will never get 50% of the vote, so they will do anything to split the vote, including using useful idiots to try and cause dissention within the Republican Party.
Anyone who thinks a third party candidate will win this election cycle is just plain stupid. Either the Republican candidate will win or hillary will be president. If that happens, I hope all the Paulbots are the first ones to lose their jobs when the Marxist destroys our economy!

As a third party candidate, Ron Paul will take many more votes away from the Democrat candidate because he is well to the left of whatever Dim candidate gets the nod on the War on Terror. In short, the Republican candidate will benefit from Ron Paul running as a third party candidate.

Exactly, and with the ever strengthening possibility of Mayor Transfat throwing his hat into the ring with his BILLIONS of dollars, dwarfing Rupaul's fools gold; Rupaul will find himself not only bumped from the GOP ticket but also as a viable 3rd party candidate..

LOL! Yes, continue to think Paul support is only coming from the left....from the teenie boppers.
Funny because the gun forums that I post at....all are supporting Ron Paul. He is a big hit at the Gun shows in my area as well.
He is going to win because pissed off conservatives like me are sick of country club republicans not being conservative. Bush is a prime example.
If you think Bush is a conservative...then there is no help for you.
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Cut Government! Close the Border!
Bush doesn't seem to understand that.
Thats why Paul will end in 3rd place or higher.

Four things: Bush understands it. He disagrees with it. I disagree with Bush about it. Bush isn't in the race.
THEBIRD

Right. Bush does a lot real conservatives don't agree with.
With Rudy, McCain, Huckabee, Romney, your just going to get the same thing. No real Cut will take place.
Thomspon is a good conservative but he doesn't have the energy to pull it off. I was excited about Thompson too until he just fizzed and made a bunch of goofs during early interviews. He was a non-starter.
So as a Pro-life, gun owning, Christian business owner....Paul is my only option.

Let me clarify a few things.
1. If you think Ron Paul has a chance of winning, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
2. If you think democreeps will vote for Ron Paul instead if hillary, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
3. If you think running away from the terrorists is the way to acheive peace, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
4. If you think voting for Ron Paul will do anything other than help hillary win, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
5. If you think the reason bin Laden has not been caught is because Bush lacks the will to find him, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
6. If you think the way to get conservatives elected is to lose to liberals, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
7. If you think a hillary presidency will be better than what we've had under Bush, you are S-T-U-P-I-D!
Note. This is simply my opinion. I do intend to demean stupid people by associating them with Ron Paul supporters.

Nope. It SEEMS that way because the DBM has been IGNORING his campaign. He scares the living crap out of them because he is almost the 2nd coming of Reagan. Make no mistake, he's NOT lazy. He has NOT fizzled. He'll likely be our next President.
So as a Pro-life, gun owning, Christian business owner....Paul is my only option.
No he isn't...go with Fred.

So... who drops out first? Ron or Fred?
Ron won't.
Count on Alan Keys, Hunter and maybe Fred dropping out. I'm holding out hope that maybe Fred will show well in Iowa.
He is a conservative but just hasn't shown he has the energy to win this thing yet. Most conservatives I've talked to especially on gun boards liked Thompson at first but switched to Paul.
If Thompson actually starts to show some interest in winning, then Paul will lose a lot of support.
If not, look for Pauls support to grow because there is no way the gun culture is going to support Romney, Huck or especially Rudy. Same with the religious right.

So now can the Paulites stop talking, please? Please throw your support to Thompson, and it'll be a win-win situation. Thompson is just as conservative(actually, more so), and would be the better winner. Besides, he doesn't carry any of that cookie conspiracy theory baggage that the rest of America thinks is crazy...
Imagine, if Ron Paul threw his support to Thompson, Thompson would be killing Romney and Huckabee right now...

It's been a long day in Iowa and our supporters were terrific! A special thank you to all of our volunteers in the state and those who phoned for Fred from your homes.
Soon Fred will be heading to New Hampshire, ready to bring his consistent conservative message to voters in the Granite State for two weekend debates before loading the bus back up and heading down to South Carolina.
Fred is working hard! His 50 stop bus tour through Iowa allowed him to take his message directly to the people, and they responded. He will continue working hard and talking about his vision for our country, meeting face to face with the folks who will cast the votes that will decide this election.
Fred's policy proposals and his stances on the issues that matter in this campaign remain the most consistent and impressive of all the candidates. He's got the wind at his back and is poised to make a serious move.
Your support has been vital to our success. Thank you for being a part of the team! Now is not the time to ease up, we need you now more than ever.
Fred is in this race to win. He is working hard. He needs your continued support. Thanks for all you have done.
On to victory!!
Sincerely,
William B. Lacy

I want the war stopped, the troops brought home, the government significantly downsized, income taxes abolished and an end to foreign aid.

If Huckster or Romey get the nod, you chances are NADA. With Thompson, he wants a reduction in government intrusion...he's a federalist. He WANTS lower taxes, he WANTS secure borders.
A guy at one of his campaign stops, at the end of his stump speech, yelled out, "Secure the borders, lower taxes, kill the terrorists!!" To which Fred replied, "You just summed up my entire speech with 3 sentences."
He's you're guy. Not a PERFECT candidate, to be sure...but the closest thing to heaven you're gonna get this time around.

It really does fit in with the cult like persuasion. They start getting young people "spread the message" mold their young minds into message bots. The internet has become the replacement for handing out brochures on the streets. Try and scare them into some doom being headed their way. And if they build their community of peace and love no one will bother you because everyone is good to you if you are good to them. (until they fly planes into your little love shack)

Do you understand how our monetary system works? By it's very design, it will someday fail. There is no way I can begin to even introduce the concept in a single forum post... Perhaps not even a thousand forum posts.
A good introduction to the concept is the movie "Money as Debt" which is a professionally produced full-length video, which can be found on Google Video. It is far from complete, but it does give you some great directions to research on your own.

Thompson is way ahead of you(not to mention Ron Paul). He's already got plans to fix Social Security, wants government back to the states, hates taxes("I've never met a tax that I liked"), wants the US to be independent of foreign aid, wants to get out of Iraq once we're no longer needed there... Seriously, have you even researched Fred Thompson?
In case you're wondering, Ron Paul is no conservative. Thompson is the most conservative of all. Compliments of this site... (http://www.ontheissues.org/Candidates.htm)

That just goes by what the candidates state as their positions. Unfortunately their stated positions often do not match what they have actually done, so those issue sites are misleading.

I am SO sick of all the whiners pulling tantrums about stopping the wa, as if thye were talking about closing the mall because it's late and the children (the troops) must go home.
For Pete's sake, don't you worry about the future of your kids? Do you really want to see your daughter swathed in a burka?
I really worry about the future of this country when I hear morons say that they want the war stopped (sorry Justaguy). Wars don't stop because people get bored. Wars stop when they are WON. It's one thing to stop the war you're playing in your computer when you get tired. It's another totally different thing when you're trying to win a war in REAL life.
Apparently, some people cannot tell the difference.
