Actually, I thought that Ron Paul had a pretty good showing considering his message is so Palaeo-conservative in this day and age, unfortunately. Perhaps further gains will get the frontrunners to promote fiscal conservativism, at least.

His support is like some kind of cult and I am serious about that, LITERALLY a cult. They believe what he says unquestioned and that he can do no wrong. He has his die hards who before he ran seemed smart enough to know his Military policies would get us all killed. But now they will follow what he says until they choke down that last gulp of Kool aid and realize they were right before they started listening to him. Hopefully since this election has shown he isn't as on fire as they seemed to think he was they will switch to Fred and keep Huckabee out. But I doubt it. That would require intervention and deprogramming at this point I fear.

I support Ron Paul second, I support the message first. Ron Paul is just a man, and he too has his shortcomings, but the message has no shortcomings.

And we are here to stay I'm afraid. The results in Iowa weren't bad considering what he was going up against. But it has given us all a renewed sense of dedication to spread the message. Expect stronger showings on the horizon.

Yeah I get it, he is a disciple of the message ... Jim Jones style. He's not the first to come up with the "intentional community" type cult.

Sorry, but that is just plain wrong...on many levels. The most obvious of them being his being stuck in time 200 years in the past.

In your dreams. The internet may be a good place to raise money from the clueless, but (more importantly) it is a wonderful tool for the dissemination of information and the more people find out about Paul, Huck, Romney and Guiliani, the more people are going to gravitate to Thompson.

Count on it.

I'm sorry but I just don't see it! Supposedly he has raised a vault full of money and yet his message only gets 10% support. Like a coach that had weeks to prepare for an "opening" game, his gameplay was piss poor at best and he lost big. When the primaries/caucus' start getting to be a week apart the going will get even tougher. THEBIRD has come to the conclusion that money translates into votes; not yet it hasn't; just ask Romney! If he doesn't do better than 10% in N.H., Mich, S.C. or Nevada, he needs to get off the porch where the big dogs play for Super Tuesday so we can get on with finding a serious candidate.
