Rejecting a personal entreaty from President Bill Clinton, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) plans to endorse Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president in a joint appearance on Monday, Democratic sources said.

I think the Kennedys were always at odds in a power struggle with the Clintons. IIRC, it stemmed back to the John Kerry vs Howard Dean ideology struggles.

Kennedy was naturally going to support the stronger opponent of Godzillary.

I wonder how many Dems will bail on Obama now that Kennedy is in the same car (cuz' if Kennedy's driving, guess where the car will wind up)?

I love it. I think the democrats are finally seeing what the Republicans have seen for a long time - just how sleazy, vile, venomious, and power hungry the Clintons are. For Ted Kennedy to reject sleaze tells you how deep the disgust is.

I am rooting for Obama. I confess, I like the guy (just can't stand his policies). And the democrats need to vomit the Clinton's from their body...they've been hooked on the drug so long that even they see what it has done to them.

Obama creamed Hillary, hope his roll continues. The slut will likely take California, whose 3rd worlders hold bitch earth mothers in awe...but we shall see.

I think that El Blimpo's endorsement may do some actual harm to the Bammers campaign. A lot of Demo's are fed up with the Clintons, and my gut tells me the Walrus is getting there too.
