MEDIA ADVISORY, Jan. 28 /Christian Newswire (http://www.christiannewswire.com/)/ -- While Senator Fred Thompson has withdrawn his name from candidacy for President, many in Jesusland are still planning on voting for Fred, according to David Jeffers, author of Understanding Evangelicals: A Guide to Jesusland. "Many evangelicals have contacted me and have either or are planning to vote for Fred Thompson. I have cast my ballot for Fred Thompson."

Jeffers says while many will view this movement as futile, he says that we cannot predict what the future holds. As I've written in my latest article "Walking in the Light (http://davidjeffers.thevanguard.org/)":
<o></o>
"I've been told by many that I'm dreaming if I believe the GOP convention will be brokered, but do they know that for sure? Can we evangelicals say that God cannot work in that way? Please understand that I am not speculating nor predicting; I would not presume to speak for God. I'm merely reminding the flock that we still serve a mighty God…So I'm going to walk in the light I have now and know that God will provide more light later. That light is showing me to go with what I had planned all along."

I want that dream too.

Yeah, sure. Fred's such a morally upright dude he was given a pass on attending the Voters Values webcast debate. ..NAHHHHHH-T!

Thompson, McCain, Romney...all 3 skipped town instead of getting their words out to the good folks looking for a moral leader in November. One might think they're ashamed to be a possible fave of the Christian right (and those callign themselves the Christian left).

God will not overrule the volitional choice of the people of this nation... He will respond to our choice as a nation - His Absolute Justice to deal with this nation in a way that is compatable with the Sovereign will of his Righteousness... If we as a nation choose to march in lock-step into the gaping maw of hell, he will not overrule that decision...

He will however be righteous and just to drop the hammer on us when we do...

I am seeing something forming up regarding Fred Thompson and the convention, but its not what the above-quoted writer is suggesting...

And Im not entirely confortable stating my suspicions at this point...:nonono:

Well, I guess I'm one of the one's he's referring to, because I DID cast my vote for Fred Thompson yesterday. He was the ONLY Conservative in the race, and he still IS the ONLY Conservative, the others are all watered down versions. You can choose the wine with one drop of urine or a filled to the brim, but your glass is still contaminated. UNTIL "we the people" decide we WANT, NEED, and DESERVE a Conservative candidate, we will continue to be offered only RINO's and Reagan-wannabes.

At least for this vote, my conscience is clear and I can look myself in the mirror after having done the best I knew how for the best candidate there was/is.

Jeffers might appreciate Fred due to the fact that he is not a Hucksterbee - the type that exaggerates his piety and only cares about religious issues.
