Duane "Dog" Chapman cannot be extradited to Mexico to face criminal charges in his capture of serial rapist and fugitive Andrew Luster in 2003, a three-judge panel in Mexico has ruled.

The unanimous ruling was handed down Tuesday. The TV bounty hunter, his son Leland Chapman and associate Tim Chapman faced being sent to the resort town of Puerto Vallarta, where they captured Luster, who had jumped a $1 million bond on charges that he drugged and raped three women.

"He's a free man," Chapman's San Francisco-based attorney, James A. Quadra, said in a telephone interview late Tuesday. "They can't reinstate any criminal charges and as a result of that, there's no basis for them to then seek extradition."

I like Duane, his show is fun to watch... and in the end, the man put a rapist behind bars. Props, glad to hear this.

Did anyone else hear that Dog is going to look for the Marine who killed the pregnant girlfriend? I was in the kitchen and thought I heard it on Fox but couldn't hear that well and they finished the topic before I made it to the TV.

Suz,
I heard an exchange on Glenn Beck (the Headline Prime show on the telly, not the radio show) between the guest host (Glenn was off last night) and I think it was the lawyer for Dog. The guest host said he would like to send Dog down to Mexico to go get that killer-marine, and the lawyer said IF Dog goes, he will make sure everything is cleared through Mexican authorities. I don't know if that indicates Dog WILL do it, or if the lawyer was just speculating out loud.

"Dog speaka the Spanish?" --DesertFox

He probably uses the universal language. Hold a 20 between two fingers of both hands, flap it a few times and grin at the person.

Thanks, that must be what I heard. It would be nice to see him get the guy.

I doubt if Dog will be chasing down any marines in mexico.

Dog is a bounty hunter. He catches the ones who have jumped bail, like Luster. The marine was never in custody, never had bail so consequently never jumped bail. There is no Dog in this race.

No but I have a pit bull who has been in a fight and needs a good home. Would you like a dog?
