McCain isn't acting like a frontrunner.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>Usually the guy who’s ahead finds it within himself to be gracious to his competitors whereas the desperate runner-up goes negative and reaches for any stick. So it was peculiar to watch John McCain sneering and slicing his way through the debate with Mitt Romney at the Reagan library. When McCain was given up for dead last summer, he was witty and fun on the stump. Now that he is the frontrunner he is snarky and obnoxious. Dr. Freud, call your office.

They say that John McCain harbors a particular dislike for Romney. And why would that be? Well, Romney is pretty much the only candidate in the race who has had the temerity (a.k.a. cash) to run ads criticizing McCain. The senator from Arizona has some fine qualities but no one has ever suggested that enduring criticism manfully is one of them. He tried his best to make such effrontery illegal with the McCain/Feingold campaign finance law. Romney found a loophole and Sen. McCain is irritated.

I saw the debate. At one point, when the whole "timetable" argument was going on, McCain looked exactly like how I would picture Captain Queeg.

John McCain is pretty-much everything I don't want in a president. Vindictive, lying, flipfloppy, corrupt, vain and power-hungry.

I think the dude has a lot of pent up hostility.

Yeah. And I think that, on the off chance he should be elected POTUS, he's going to take that hostility out on anyone and everyone whom he perceives has ever done him a wrong or a slight.

Guess who's going to be squarely in his sights and first on his list: YOU and ME.

Conservatives.

McVain is everything DF said he is, and more, but first and foremost, he's vindictive.

He's a mean, nasty little man.

And he's dangerous.

Friends, if this man wins the Whitehouse we are going to see Tyranny the likes of which will make Bill Clinton's reign of terror look like a dress rehearsal...

Has anyone here forgotten how maniacal he became in 2000 when Bush started to pull ahead in the race? McCain should have been carried off in a straight jacket then...

McCain a mad dog who's whole driving force in life is to become the emperor of America... If you think he's bad now, wait until we see Romney win a few states... McCain sees his life's dream within his grasp - if he thinks Romney might start to regain the lead, he will do ANYTHING to stop him... He is consumed with power lust to the point of madness...

We do not want this man within a mile of the Whitehouse...

Be Ye Warned!

McCain is like Hitlery - anyone who dares to cross him had better watch his back.
