The Weekly - 1 hour, 6 minutes agoARLINGTON, VA (February 1, 2008) - U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that former Solicitor General Theodore B. Olson has endorsed John McCain for president. Mr. Olson will serve as Co-Chairman of the McCain Judicial Advisory Committee.

Certainly not a liberal.

This man has been touted as hero for the conservative cause many times on this board, he lost his wife on 9/11. Please don't run the man down. We need him right now, I am happy to hear this. At least we know McCain is going to have some true conservatives to advise him.

Sadly, if he is advising McCain it will be as McCain serves in the Senate
because McCain won't win the presidency if he is the repub's nominee...

the choice between McCain and either Hillary or Obama is NO CHOICE AT
ALL.....................

I think any conservative that he is getting advice from would be very welcome. I think it's the only chance we have left if Huckabee is staying in the race.

In other words I will take what I can get ... and we need to get people like him involved.
