He is looking for a VP slot and doesn't want to burn any bridges. Book it!

There has never been a doubt in my mind that Richardson will end up in the VP slot, no matter which Marxist Democrat heads the ticket.

Richardson has declared himself a Mexican, and that's the bloc that the Dems are counting on to put them over the top.

They have the blacks. Always have had.

It's the Mexicans they need, and no doubt a Governor, a declared Mexican, can bring that bloc along.

There is one teetinsy glimmer of hope: Enough of a racial chasm between blacks and Mexicans exists that with Richardson on the ticket, it could cause blacks to sit home if Osamabama puts Richardson in the second spot. Blacks could see that as betrayal.

With Hillary in first spot, Richardson in second won't make a difference. She can sleep through the campaign and be elected.

He is successful and wealthy

Yet, for political expediency, he declares himself "Mexican" and goes into victim mode with claims of racism in his youth.
Now, he hopes to leverage his identity to become VP preferably for Hillary. After all, that 2% showing in Iowa should count for something!

No way would Obama choose a non-white.

However, if he campaigns for Obama, he might become a cabinet member.
