LONDON: While Prince Andrew declares himself a fan of the United States - and his cellphone ring tone comes from the American TV drama "24" - the man who is fourth in line to the British throne has some critical words for America's Iraq policy and thinks that Washington should have listened to advice from London.
In a rare Buckingham Palace interview ahead of his departure Tuesday for a 10-day U.S. trip to support British business, the prince described the United States as Britain's No. 1 ally but conceded that relations were in a trough. There are, he added, "occasions when people in the U.K. would wish that those in responsible positions in the U.S. might listen and learn from our experiences."
The prince has a full-time role as a trade envoy for Britain but for 22 years he was in the Royal Navy, serving as a helicopter pilot during the Falklands conflict, and Iraq is a preoccupation.
Because of its imperial history, Britain has experienced much of what the United States is going through, Prince Andrew said.
"If you are looking at colonialism, if you are looking at operations on an international scale, if you are looking at understanding each other's culture, understanding how to operate in a military insurgency campaign - we have been through them all," he said.More (http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/02/04/america/andrew.php)

Does anyone care what Prince Andrew says about anything?
If he were half a man he would advocate peace in front of Ahmadinajad's headquarters.
Prince Andrew is a Jew hater.

We should listen to their advice because they are handling terrorism so well. Ok...sure.

IMO, the opinions of a twit whose only claim to fame is being the result of the boffing of the queen are utterly irrelevant. Why England still tolerates the royal welfare family is anyone's guess.

The Little Princey is probably one of those who believes Churchill didn't exist.

Prince Andrew really needs to shove his advice back where it came from.

Yep. That's the youngest [turns 7 on Friday] and CC.
EDIT: And now the Boxer is up. We didn't have his ears cropped. We figured if God had meant for him to have pointy ears, he would have made him that way to start with.

Learn what exactly? How to reduce our nation into a busted, and dying society, which has in every way been surpassed, and is now being subjugated by even the lowliest of its former subjects? Perhaps they should learn from their experiences before expecting anyone else to take them seriously.

I can only recommend a tour with a Marine Corps Infantry company in Iraq, then an extended period of mess duty (6 months) in Court House Bay to round out his perspective.

"Royalty" What a farcical word in the modern age.
Someone tell the snot-nosed boy to leave the word "colonialism" or "colonize" out of discussions when talking about American involvement in Iraq.
Best answer for him is to embed him with U.S. Special Forces in the theater. Let him actually jump from the plane with them and hike to their target. Maybe show him several atrocities up close...where he can smell and touch the evil there.

Sadly, we couldn't have evicted them without help from the French.

And again, WORLDS HIGHEST PAID WELFARE RECIPIENT,we kicked your bloody asses once ...Twice, actually. Remember the Johnny Horton song?
In 1814 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip.
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans.
[Chorus:]
We fired our guns and the British kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
The War of 1812 was fought between the United States of America and the United Kingdom and its colonies, especially Upper Canada (Ontario), Lower Canada (Quebec), Nova Scotia, Bermuda and Newfoundland.
The war was fought from 1812 to 1815, although a peace treaty was signed in 1814. By the end of the war, 1,600 British and 2,260 American troops had died.[1] Great Britain had been at war with France since 1793, and to impede neutral trade with France imposed a series of restrictions that the U.S. contested as illegal under international law.[2] The Americans declared war on Britain on June 18, 1812 for a combination of reasons, including: outrage at the impressment (conscription) of American sailors into the British navy; frustration at British restraints on neutral trade; anger at alleged British military support for American Indians defending their tribal lands from encroaching American settlers;[3] and a desire for territorial expansion of the Republic.War of 1812 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_1812)
They didn't learn the first time.

I never thought of it that way, they are welfare receipents. I just thought all of England was stupid for footing the bill for unnecessary spoiled brats.
England still needs to learn a lesson, as does the rest of Europe.
