Oh!Ok So nobody even knew that I was gone.That's Ok.Three weeks and 2 surgeries later here I am.Still dont feel worth a crap,but im going back to work Monday,because Im going crazy here at home and my brothers (and one sister least I forget her) need me .at least they say they do.

I hope all the important parts are still there... :DOver the last several years my weight had gone on a rampage and no diet that I tried made a dent in it.After many test to eliminate any gland or any other problem a decision was mad to do a gastric bypass or LAP band surgery.I chose the band because it was less invasive and could be undone if necessary.If the surgery had not been done I was looking at knee replacement within 2 years.I had the original surgery on Jan.21.Out Patient.Right!! No such luck.After going home I began to throw up,couldn even keep water down.After four days I was Admitted to the hospital through the ER.X-ray showed that the band was too tight (the surgeon admitted that it was a very tight fit and that the bands only come in large and small sizes and he decided to go with the smaller one)and my stomach had been bruised and swelled out and plugged the opening into my larger stomach from my small pouch (new stomach).Tried for three days to reduce the swelling by using steroids (ok maybe a new career in baseball.)but it didn work.On Sunday afternoon Jan 27 I went back to surgery and they removed the band that was too small and replaced it with the larger one.The surgeon really felt bad about it,but probably not bad enought to not charge me.But,it says volumes to about how bad he felt,because it got him off the golf course on a sunday afternoon to do surgery on me.I seem to be getting better by the day and I guess it works since I've lost 25 pounds since Jan 11.
