Once Again, Differing Left - Right Standards Emerge

Re Air America Radio host Randi Rhodes "skit depicting conservative Mitt Romney supporters as ready to commit mass killings should John McCain emerge as the GOP's presidential nominee."

Here's the problem: were Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly or anyone else not on the left to create and air a similar skit (substitute Romney and McCain for Obama and Clinton), the Media Matters / Think Progress / Soros crowd would be contacting advertisers and demanding the hosts be fired. The mainstream media would then be thrilled to pick up the story.

But when it happens on their own end, it's either "humor" that right- wingers somehow don't get, dismissed as not a big deal, or ignored altogether. The next time the "progressive" left is on a tirade about "hate radio", let's remind them of this and other past incidents coming from their own side of the political fence.

Folks, the problem with the left is not how they say it, but what they say. Lies. All lies.

We've got all we need: the truth.

Rules of engagement: tell the truth about liberals and their ideas; smile as you do so; slap ’em up side the head with it. If you can wedge a bit of the truth up their asses, do so. Yeah. Deep, but not too deep, just deep enough to irritate. For heaven's sake don't touch anything, no direct contact; use your boot and wash it afterwards. If you can get a low blow in, by all means deliver it with enthusiasm, and don’t forget the eyes. Throw some truth into those too. Yeah. If veins bulge and spittle flies . . . well, that‘s great. You’re doing fine. Always keep a razor in your shoe for the twitchers.

It's not the how, but the what! Truth.

The conservative movement’s most troublesome lot are the conservatives who fear the left or play by its rules. These are the folks who hesitate to raise the truth with lefty or use lefty’s silly ass doublespeak to express it because lefty might try to ruin them otherwise. These are also the folks who dutifully stand beside lefty with somber faces and -- with a deep sigh that says, “See, I’m one of the good ones” -- denounce one of their own, one who doesn’t give a damn about lefty's threats and tantrums, lefty's approval or lefty's manner of expressing things. These are the same folks who let McCarthy be crucified. They’re not our friends. The knob polishers need to be shown why they’re wrong or shown the door.

What’s with all this wringing of hands?

Folks, the left has barely laid a glove on our street fighters, while their mouthpieces have been falling one after another. Hell, we’ve brought down at least six “journalists,” variously, from the Globe, the L.A. Times and the New York Times in just the last few years . . . with the truth. Rather’s out! And we got another news commentator from a major network just the other day. And that’s just for starters.

Why?

Because they lied, and we didn’t let them get away with it. And we didn’t just say so; we used baseball bats on some of them. Yeah.

And as for the shock jocks like Imus; they’re not ours, but theirs. Let ’em take their own out.

Who have they gotten from our side? They tried to get Rush. Ooops. That didn’t work out. *snicker*

It’s okay to hate lies and the liars who tell them. It’s okay to hate evil and bitch slap it like Coulter does, for example.
