View Full Version : Obama is dangerous

For most ordinary Americans, those not encumbered with an expensive education or infected by prolonged exposure to cosmopolitan heterodoxy, patriotism is a consequence of birth. ...

But not, apparently, Michelle Obama, wife of the man who is now the putative Democratic candidate for US president, and at this point favourite to succeed to that job. In what might be the most revealing statement made by any political figure so far in this campaign season, Mrs Obama caused a stir this week. She said that the success of her husband Barack's campaign had marked the first time in her adult life that she had felt pride in her country.

This, even by the astonishingly self-absorbed standards of politicians and their families, is a remarkably narrow view of what makes a country great. And though she later half-heartedly tried to retract the remark it was a statement pregnant with meaning for the presidential election campaign.

That kind of resentment in the White House is a serious concern.

Obama needs to open up about who he would have in his administration.

Who is up for re-election in Congress? We need to really focus on that question.

The brainwashed "cult of personality" following that Obama has going for him is becoming quite disconcerting. These are the same type of zombies who idolized Hitler, Castro, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Kim, Sadam (many still do some or all of these), and, yes, FDR and JFK.

Quite frankly, I think I'd be more comfortable with Hillary in the White House. JMO.

The obamination is dangerous. He needs to be stopped at the ballot box even if it means we must face an immediate danger by rejecting him as president.

With the recent comments coming out from the Obama's mouths, they are both becomming real scary. Society insuring that nobody is poor. Taxing middle class to pay for increased social programs. Mandated socialized medicine. Pander to Iran. Do nothing about Illegal immigration.

The extreme radical far-left agenda as promoted by moveon.org and Code Pink. Thats what they want when you read between the lines of all the cheap 10 second sound bites claiming to represent average America.

I'm beginning to think that McCain can and will beat either one of them. The Times has taken its shot at McCain, and as long as there is no real substance there as appears to be the case, it will be the Times, not McCain, that loses out. The Times has foolishly overestimated its influence in the age of the new media. McCain’s position in the polls has been bolstered of late. Hell, I’m hoping that Clinton does win Ohio and Texas, which unfortunately doesn’t look likely anymore, so that the Democrats remain mired in the slugfest.

Obama can get away with his nonsensical pronouncements -- especially on foreign policy -- for now as he doesn't have to face a stark difference. McCain should be able to handily expose his tripe for what it is.

I know that a lot of you would rather avoid a McCain presidency and hope for a four-year Obama presidency, a Jimmy Carter-like, failed presidency. I don’t want to take that risk and believe McCain will be forced to move ever more to the right in order to win and govern successfully.

Whenever I listen to all the things that Obama wants to do these words from Thomas Jefferson come to mind.

"A government that is large enough to supply everything you need, is large enough to take everything you have." - Thomas Jefferson

He comes across well in his speeches, but then again so did Hitler. I'm not saying they are the same, but he never mentions what he wants to do because if he did people would begin to question his ideas. Right now they just love the "change" talk. He is nothing new, just politician a different coat thats all.

This guy is getting beyond creepy. People are becoming mesmerized by him down to body functions. He gets applause for blowing his nose, the crowd literally goes wild. I don't get it.

Obama, like Carter, could do some serious and lasting damage to our foreign policy. Carter undermined our friends and emboldened our enemies all the while preaching about how America was not exceptional. That's Obama. He's dangerous. He must not be president.

Women behaved like this during Elvis concerts. Does this mean that we should have made Elvis President? This is getting embarrassing. I think once people actually find out what he stands for they MIGHT rethink their support for this guy. Who knows though with all the fainting and idiocy surrounding his speeches, no wonder the guy doesn't have to say anything. After all, he only needs to blow his nose to get them to clap. "Like lambs to the slaughter".
