Nasrallah says Israel's disappearance an inevitable fact

Hizbullah head Hassan Nasrallah on Friday said Israel's "disappearance" is an inevitable fact.

"If Israel's attacks Lebanon again, we will wage war without any preconditions," Nasrallah said during a speech in Beirut in honor of Hizbullah arch-terrorist Imad Mughniyeh, who was assassinated last week in Damascus.

"The disappearance of Israel is an inevitable fact. It is an historical process in the region which will come to an end in several years," he said.

Nasrallah said Mughniyeh's death in a car bombing earlier this month in Syria was a "pre-emptive" strike meant to set the stage for the assassination of more of Hizbullah's top leaders.

But if Iran has just one or two nukes (or has the means to acquire them from somebody else), they may feel that they can make Israel toast. As small as the Jewish state is, only one or two bombs would take out a good portion of the population. Iran, in contrast, has far more people, and a much larger land area. Although an A-bomb strike would be disastrous, it would not be fatal. In addition, if it's Muslims vs. Jews, there are far, far more of the former in the world than the latter.

It's such a shame that we have pacified (pussy-fied) Israel with our "go along to get along (at any costs)" philosophy.

Our leaders "honor" them by paying state visits to their "countries" (I wonder if any President would have engaged in a good will tour of Nazi Germany while Jews were being gassed at Auschwitz). Our leaders publicly pronounce Islam to be a religion of peace (including G.W.) when its own scriptures clearly denounce everything we hold dear.
