McCain: The Manchurian Candidate?

My dad made me sit through a movie and its remake. That movie was The Manchurian Candidate. These movies are his favorites.

There's one thing that scared me about these movies (both are excellent, must-sees) is that the candidate is a lot like McCain. The candidate is a brain-washed robot (basically) that is sent to bring Communism to America. In the remake it's to bring the world to a Global government. This candidate was POW in a war camp.

McCain was in that camp for five years.

I'm not usually the type to come up with crazy ideas, but what if McCain is the Manchurian candidate? What would happen to America?

I'm curious to see your responses.

Sounds like a way to slam him for his military service to me. All war vets are crazy right? The ones that have had to withstand imprisonment must be even worse huh? My Pastor when I was growing up was a POW, he used to joke that it meant preacher of the word. He was a good man.

This is just another smear I have seen in the media. I would like to see how some of them would handle going thru what he did.

McCain has a lot of issues, his service in the military shouldn't be one of them.

It's just something I've noticed. I don't know if it's true or not. It's just an idea.

You should be more worried about Obama. McCain has been around a long time with no evidence of this. Obama we know nothing about.

And God only knows what's in Hillary's head. (Un)fortunately, she's all but out of the picture now.

And yes, McCain is a war hero. I won't deny that.

Real war heroes don't exploit what happened to them for political gain. McCain is acting like Giuliani did with 9/11.

And quite frankly if we were to select presidents by how long they were in POW camps, I'm quite sure there are far more genuine and principled conservatives that stayed a lot longer than McCain in NVA prisons.

John has been in prison. Hillary should have been put in prison. Who knows about Barack?
