I walked into the place with my dad, rented a .38 S&W Revolver and wow, it was fun! At first it scared the hell outta me because there was this well ghetto guy next to us, firing .357 magnum loads so yeah.. but it was fun! I'm gonna post the target thingy when I get this thing on my computer! So anyway IT WAS FUN!

Shooting a gun is fun. I did it for the first time when I was 9. I personally think all kids should shoot a gun. (With proper supervision, of course.)

Exactly, I had proper supermanvision with my dad and a few vietnam vets watching me, anyway:

Looks like you got bit by the gun bug too, eh?
Wait until you shoot a 1911. First time I shot one, I absolutely fell in love with it.

There was a guy there with a 1911. I think it was broken or he was cleaning it out though lol.

Good job, Taylor!! Tell you what's kool if you ever get the chance. A military style rifle range, firing an M16 at pop up targets. Sometimes 2 will pop up and you still get but a few seconds to shoot them. 40 targets in all. If you get a chance, try it. You won't be sorry.

This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off. So you have to ask your self "Do I feel lucky?". Well, do ya, punk?!
Sorry, I'm a big Dirty Harry fan.
I've shot .22s in summer camp, but nothing bigger. My best friend has a .44 Magnum. One time I cocked it, but then un-cocked it real quick. It scared the crap outta me, with its hair trigger.
Does anyone remember the special gun that Charles Bronson's character sent away for in Death Wish 3? He called it a .475 Wildey Magnum. The thing was enormous.

Holy star star star star, man, DUDE I'm trying to get use to guns, meaning shooting them, MAYBE next time I can fire a .40 glock, what your suggesting, I'd like to keep my feet on the ground and have 2 un-broken arms rofl, but I do like them.
Beowulf, I'll try to get right on that LOL. Although, my cousin said when hes down, he can take me to a base, I don't know what the requirements of taking me into a military base and shooting are though I'm only 13...

Oh... that's much bigger than a Glock .40
Here's a comparison of a .44 magnum and the S&W 500:

I like how the guy has a scared look on his face after the first shot, and has to kind of build up his courage to get a second one off... :)

Yes. It is the 10 inch model "Survivor". I am currently trying to convince my gun dealer to order it for me..... but he's fighting me. Wants me to purchase a Desert Eagle 50 caliber semiauto instead.

Taylor, get an empty milk carton and fill it with water. Shoot it with a shotgun (I shot one with a pump-action twelve guage). It is awesome.

...and then fill a plastic, one gallon jug and shoot it using a .40cal with Expanding Full Metal Jackets (my home defense round).

First time I shot at an indoor range (about 10 years old) my dad told me to aim for the center. I did. Then proceeded to hit the skinny single bar that hangs from the ceiling and holds the target. My dad didn't know whether to be impressed or embarrased.

How did we get from firing guns to showing off a couple of small "guns" wrapped around a cutie.
Taylor I have owned and qualified many times with S&W .357Mag Python, Colt Trooper III .357Mag, Colt .44Mag, S&W .41Mag and S&W 5906 9mm. My absolute favorite is the 9mm. I qualified with Combat Course 300's, eight times over four years with it. Of course I was an instructor for 15 years. The caliber is not as important as the accuracy and wound path. It is much easier to keep tight paterns with the 9mm including, but not limited to the Mozambique technique. The S&W .41Mag is my next favorite. But just for all out killing power at high speeds the .357Mag is about the most deadly of them all.
Have fun and learn control before speed. Speed will come with practice.

Ill go with the .357 any day. I have a Brasilian .357 Mag Taurus in my nighstand. Great gun.

This is an original Wildey. Chambered in the powerful 45 Winchester Magnum. Optionally the even larger 475 Wildey Magnum can be used in the firearm. The adjustable gas system allows the use of a very wide range of ammunition. The Wildey gained notoriety in several motion pictures. Charles Bronson used one in Death Wish 3, Keenen Ivory Wayans had an occasion to try a Wildey Pistol in Low Down Dirty Shame, and one was used in the film Hard Way with James Woods and Michael J Fox. Available in barrels from 5" to 14" the one pictured is a 10" barrel. After meeting with Linda and Wildey Moore in Feb of 2003 I need to state the Company has never been out of business. They did move. In 2000 Colt Firearms contracted for some Wildeys with the Colt name on them. Rare, Collectible and Unusual Semi Autos (http://www.calzaretta.com/autos.html)

And there is of course Dirty Harry's .44 Automag from "Sudden Impact".
[Horace King Fires two shotgun blasts at the target]
Harry Callahan: Not bad.
Horace King: Not bad, my ass! You've got to strain the remains for the fingerprints.
Harry Callahan: Well, this is the .44 Magnum Auto-Mag and it holds a 300-grain cartridge. And, if properly used, it can remove the fingerprints.
