CHICAGO (AP) — In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

The 74-year-old Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

Doesn't matter. I was watching Fox just a moment ago, and they said that young people are stumbling over each other to vote for Barack.

Face it, guys. The Great Unwashed are totally and completely infatuated with Barack Hallmark Obama.

I'm ready to bet he'll be prez. So be it. Maybe then Americans will finally wake up and smell the effing coffee once and for all.

After taking credit for his victory, it will be hard for them to complain about the disastrous results that will follow his hard left agenda. I wonder how many of those who campaign for Barack, are hoping to inherit their parents small business or home?

He is going to have to confiscate alot of private ownership to raise the standard of living for all the incompetent and lazy fools out there, enforcing his policy that no American will be poor. From listening to the cheering, there sure are alot of them out there. Its a stunning revelation.

If the average income in NYC is $300k per year, how much are you and I going to have to be taxed for those making below that to live within the Obamanomics plan of one financial class for all? How much are we going to have to add to the cost of each product we sell to make up the difference? And most important, what countrys will subsidise their citizens who want to buy American simply because Obama thinks Americans deserve it lazy or not?

Maybe he will send Jessie and Sharpton along with Louis to teach the rest of the world why Americans deserve a standard of living higher than everyone else. That's gotta be it, that must be his secret plan, what else makes sense?

We need a real cowboy in office, not a extreme leftist like Obama. If we were not at war with a very serious threat, then I could possibly stomach Obama for 4-8 years, but now is not the time!

And for people who are not going to vote for McCain because he's not a "true conservative", shame on you....65 percent conservatism is better than 0 percent!!!

If Obama is smart (though I don't think he is), he'll shut Farrakhan—whom George H.W. Bush once juxtaposed with the Ku Klux Klan—up. If he doesn't, don't be surprised if every idiotic thing Farrakhan has ever said or done turns up in places like Free Conservatives. In fact, don't be surprised if someone from the Hillary camp is right now burning the midnight oil looking for dirt on Farrakhan (which is about as difficult as looking for sand at the beach).
