Hillary and Obama try to outdo each other with promises that they will take care of the children yet offer no explanations of how they will pay for this added burden on the taxpaying public. It's up to the parents to take care of the children and if they can't then don't have them. If you can't feed them do not breed them.

Point: When you are in desperate political trouble, distract the voters with a slight-of-hand trick... One of the oldest and best is the "Let's do it for the children" ploy... Its entirely fatuous and disingenuous, but the word "Children" makes voters go limp as if you just locked their tender bits in the jaws of a pit bull...

Of course if you use the ploy too often you run the risk of the voters actually waking up and realizing that you're full of shit...
