Dating Question

I asked out this girl before a Valentines Day dance. Somebody already beat me to it. I shrugged it off, I don't dwell on these things because I've seen enough teenagers get hysterical over the stupidest things like this.

For the past week, she's been asking me if I'm jealous of her doing this or that. Is that a sign that she wants me to ask her out again?

I really don't know what she's trying to do... do any of you know?

She went with the first one to ask her out? Then she asked you if you felt jealous about her doing that. Did she tell you her intentions on that? If she did, and you are interested in her, it's good to have a talk. If she just keeps hammering away at the probability you might be jealous, then she is only looking for points for her heartbreaker abilities. My opinion only.

It sounds to me as if she's interested in you and would rather go with you. Just my opinion.

The dance was last week so looks like I'll have to take her to a movie if I do ask her out.

Or maybe it's because I'm very quiet and I only talk when a subject interests me. Maybe she thinks I'm holding a grudge against her or something.

Or she is looking for attention. I have known too many girls who insist on constant ego boosts, "Do you like this?" "Do think I am pretty?" "Do you mind if I go out with other guys, friends, by myself" etc.

Someone who constantly asks questions concerning approval just wants attention because they are insecure. People like that are an annoying waste of time in my experience.


Bottom line: You know this girl. Is she honest? Is she nice? If so then ask her out again. If the answer is no, why bother? If you arn't sure ask her flat out what the deal is.
