This weekend we begin Daylight Savings Time. Freecers don't forget to change your clocks!

Spring forward (move clocks ahead an hour)
Fall Back (move clocks back an hour)

Your friendly neighborhood reminder.

 I agree with ColonialMarine0431, that we should stop changing. We should scrap standard time, & stay on daylight time all year.

If your Windows-based computer hasn't yet been updated for the new DST shedule, unzip the attrached file. In it is Microsoft's TZEDIT.EXE. Once unzipped, run it from wherever it's saved It doesn't require installation.

This screen appears:

Highlight your time zone and click Edit. This screen appears. The new Start Day and Last Day settings are shown. Nothing else should need changing.

Once they're entered, click OK and your machine should be ready.

I'm always been confused as to when it actually skips ahead/rolls back. I've heard midnight, I've heard 2:00AM.

Ditto. I heard actually that a town in MA a while back actually stopped doing this, maybe Doc can verify?

I personally would love an extra hour of sunlight all year long, but that's me.

 I've never understood why some people prefer standard time. Is it so you can waste an hour of daylight getting ready for work? So you can drive to work with the sun in your eyes? I can think of better ways to use the daylight hours.
