Saving Reagan’s Legacy
Or is the GOP trying to kill it?

There really are no more excuses to not cut government, yet the Republicans have given up on even making the case for smaller government. Yes, Congress is limited and yes, the media is overtly liberal. But these things never stopped Ronald Reagan. And while Reagan presided over government growth, he never shied away from cutting taxes in a meaningful way. Indeed, Reagan’s cuts passed during deficit times, proving one does not need a surplus to do the right thing. And Reagan never stopped talking about why he believed that real, meaningful cuts in the federal government were best for the American people. To him, a Democratic House was an impediment to change. But he still believed in the fundamental need for such change.
