Sware is the past-tense of swear - meaning you used to swear that was the case but apparently, no longer.
I think you're intending a current and up-to-date assessment of the state of liberalism and therefore I suggest the present tense form of the word... swear.
I swear with you but I assure you, back in the day, I sware too.
