Well, my son ended up adding to the number of our family -- another American Bulldog pup he has named Rebel. The little guy is just 6 weeks, and he has a little boo-boo on the top of his head, but his attitude is all bulldog. He was fearless from the beginning with the other two dogs. Our other American, Bodacious, acted a little scary when my son first brought Rebel in the house, but after he put his old dog's tiny spiked collar on the pup, our Bodi must have thought he was either his brother, or somehow related because he calmed right down. Began licking and mothering the little fellow. Our other new pup (he just turned 5 months) the Mastiff/Boxer mix, being just a pup himself, is a little rough with the little Reb, so we have to watch them closely.

We dug out the old baby playpen, and my son came home with a ton of stuff for the little guy. I'm supposed to call our vet tomorrow morning first thing to schedule an appointment, hopefully the little bump on the top of his head is nothing. We're back to the baby days, :)

Here he is:

Suz,
EVERYBODY, including our vet, says he's got a predominance of Boxer in him. I wish my son had taken me or his father with him when he went to go see the pups in the first place. It's really no big deal, I mean we already have an American bulldog and a Boxer/Mastiff mix, so a Boxer/American won't be a problem,

He's a little spit-fire though. He is totally not afraid of the other dogs, even though they tower over him by miles. He charges them, bites at them, barks at them -- even when they roll him over and trample him, lol. He thinks he's 10ft tall and bullet proof.
