Shocking! Absolutely shocking!
The piece was very well presented too. I'm sending it to my neighbor right away. I've offered to help her find a weapon for self protection and home defense. This piece might give her some confidence.
But it is surprising that CNN :ham: has produced it.
:claps:
But I can't help wonder about the rationale behind it???

Well, I can understand part of why CNN would create such a piece. It's about women buying firearms. They'd never do one if it was about white boy, flesh eating "bubbas" buying firearms.

I am sure that that is it.
But I will take it anyway.

Actually, yes. CNN is showing women as strong and capable of taking care of themselves. OK, that's fine. However, I think it strongly colored their decision to create this piece.
It also wasn't about their boyfriends and dads and brothers and husbands teaching them. Oh no. They were acquiring firearms to "defend" themselves against their ex-boyfriends and ex-husbands. I noticed that. OK, fine. CNN felt it necessary to take a slap at evil men as part of the piece. At least the ladies are arming themselves.
Point being, there is a bias to the piece.

Hell froze over in 2004, Rhino, when the Red Sox won the World Series. You'll have to think of something else.
But yes, this is shocking!
