I didn't know that. Sean Hannity is interviewing him on Fox News right now and Sean asked him about it. He said he never discusses the lives of his children publicly. Sean told him it says alot about his view of the war when he has a personal stake in it and McCain just said other families have offered more. I had no idea his sons were over there.

That makes two of us.
Something else I didn't know either, until hearing it on Hannity the other day: They have an adopted child from Bangaladesh. I knew they had an adopted child, and I knew it was a some nationality other than "American." Hannity said that Cindy McCain was in Bangaladesh on some kind of a mission, visiting an orphanage. Someone put the tiny baby in her arms and told her that the child didn't have a chance of living. It would die. Malnourished. Failure to thrive. Too many babies and children in the orphanage for that baby to get any special care.
Cindy McCain got some kind of a special clearance and brought the baby home.
That was the child that was being passed off to South Carolina primary voters in 2000 as a "black" child, in an attempt to derail McCain.

I would have thought as much as he is referred to as McVain those would be things everyone would know. I didn't know either of them. The way people talk I thought he was constantly blowing his own horn and we would know all this kinda stuff that would pump him up bigger.

From NT's link...
Three Republicans at the private event said the Arizona senator, who has been mum about his Marine son on the campaign trail, received a powerful standing ovation when he told the House Republican Conference his son, Jimmy, had arrived home from Iraq with his unit, CNN reported Thursday.Wonder who the blabbermouths are if he only mentioned it at a private event?
