By now every Cape Codder has heard our senior US senator Ted Kennedy proclaiming his resistence to the Cape Wind project on Nantucket Sound because, as he said, "that's where I sail."

He has called Nantucket Sound "a national treasure", but his love and respect doesn't not extend to his own habits as these photos of him dumping diesel fuel from the bilge of his yacht Mya into the same waters he tries to prevent others from using for renewable energy projects.

Darn. First he was just another punk Kennedy. Then he was a killer. Then he became an alcoholic. Then he turned into a full-time liar. Then he escaped a rape charge. Now he's a big league hypocrite.

And to think, Teddy, we once expected great things of you. Instead you've lived down to the Kennedy reputation.

Ah, yes. Hero of Chappaquiddick dives again.

Most voters in occupied MA refer to Kennedy as Senator Chivas. A few years ago he was drunk and ran his sailboat aground and the coast guard had to extract him and the boat.

Most voters in occupied MA refer to Kennedy as Senator Chivas. A few years ago he was drunk and ran his sailboat aground and the coast guard had to extract him and the boat.Yet they keep re-electing him.

I don't think they do. I think the Kennedy money keeps buying elections via the unions.

Or maybe not.

Kennedy Klan Mantra: "Do as we say, not as we do."

Why the people of Mass. keep putting these turds in office is beyong me.

DF apparently thinks they've got a pretty good machine for rigging the elections. John Kerry must get in on the action from time to time, too, though.

Why the people of Mass. keep putting these turds in office is beyond me.The Kennedrunks are a dynasty in Massholechusetts. All one needs to do to be elected here is to be a member of that dysfunctional family. He is invariably reëlected for several reasons:

- He's a Kennedy;
- He's a libeRAT;
- He's a poilitical fixture;
- No one of note bothers to challenge him;
- The voters of MA are mostly clueless assholes.

Fact: he will be in the Senate until he dies. He will then be stuffed and serve two more terms.

As for John F'ing Kerry, the last four items in the above list apply to him as well.

Lest we forget that Libs are allowed to commit acts of double-standards! It's not OK for you and I to dump diesel from our boat into the sound but it IS OK for Uncle Ted!

It's not OK for you and I to dump diesel from our boat into the sound but it IS OK for Uncle Ted!He's probably dumped stuff worse than diesel fuel into the ocean.

The reason libRATs advocate coersion through the force of government is because they cannot practice what they preach, and so they assume the rest of the country is (a) also full of shit, and (b) in dire need of a police state.

Maybe it wasn't really oil. Maybe it's the blood of his latest murder victim being barfed out by an alligator.

One more reason that term limits are needed soon.

I guess the bloom is off that rose. The mere fact that this made the news without apology makes me wonder if the folks who really matter - Fatboy's neighbors - are plumping for a new senator.

Read this caption: "This photograph was taken from shore when the photographer saw Ted Kennedy (the larger shape in the Hyannisport Yacht Club Launch on right) leaving the yacht Mya while it was discharging oil into Nantucket Sound."

Larger shape? How about the manatee on the right?

One concern with wind turbine technology is the intermittent nature of wind. The Hyannisport location was chosen because of the high concentration of Kennedy's insuring a constant strong prevailing wind.

J'ever wonder why if wind energy is so great why do wind farm projects receive huge incentives, subsidies and tax breaks?

J'ever wonder why if wind energy is so great why do wind farm projects receive huge incentives, subsidies and tax breaks?Ditto ethanol and the other "alternative" energy sources. If they had any real merit, the market would support them without burdening the taxpayers.

J'ever wonder why if wind energy is so great why do wind farm projects receive huge incentives, subsidies and tax breaks?A lot of times those subsidies and tax breaks go to major corporations, often as a result of laws and policies advocated by those who bitch about "corporate welfare."
