THE call girl whose tryst with disgraced New York Governor Eliot Spitzer brought about his downfall once worked for an escort service he busted, its former owner said.

The former pimp said he met and employed Ashley Dupre, at her initiative, when she was just 19.

"We knew that we had found a rock star escort when we met Ashley,'' Jason Itzler told CNN's Larry King Live.

"She was spectacular. In my opinion, she was the hottest, sexiest escort we ever had," Itzler said.

"We were getting easily 2000 dollars an hour for her, with three, four, five-hour minimums."

Authorities shut down Itzler's big-bucks New York Confidential escort service in January 2005, and he spent two years in jail.

His was one of seven or eight escort services Mr Spitzer busted when he was New York state attorney general, Itzler said.

Spitzer has been detestable ever since he went after decent people (and probably before, but I haven't researched that).

A pro-life legal group has moved to quash a subpoena filed in New York's Supreme Court in Manhattan by the state attorney general's office, charging that the action seeks to "intimidate" and "stifle" the message of a crisis pregnancy and counseling center.

The American Center for Law and Justice, which specializes in pro-life litigation, filed its motion to have the subpoena dismissed on Thursday, claiming Attorney General Eliot Spitzer "failed to list any specific complaints against" its client, Expectant Mother Care, which has provided its counseling services for 17 years.

The subpoena seeks the names of staff and their credentials, training materials and copies of all policies and procedures pertaining to clients, the ACLJ said.

"The state of New York and the attorney general ? are clearly engaged in a campaign to disrupt, discredit and harass the pro-life counseling centers in New York City," said Vincent McCarthy, the group's senior counsel. I remember seeing Spitzer when he first got the AG gig(1998?) on the Jon Stewart Show.

Since he was a lefty whoremonger, Jon Stewart was all over him, licking his balls as usual and then slurping him down like a labrador retriever. The interview was entirely masturbatory.

The Spit loved the wet bath by Jon Stewart. He reveled in the glory of TV beejays by leftwing hosts who thought they were comedians.

The slurping got so bad, at one point, Spitzer just said screw it, and then pushed Jon Stewart's head all the way down beneath the desk. Of course, they cut to a commercial.

Jon Stewart sure was a great judge of character.
