We can do it again

We, the American citizens shut down the senate phone lines when we were upset that they planned to pass an amnesty bill. Well it is time to warm up those fingers yet again, this time we the American citizens will be raising hell about a little something even closer to everyone’s heart the ever spiraling gas prices. No I do not want another worthless inquiry, I do not want them to waste our tax dollars having another investigation only to hike the taxes on oil companies that only pass that hike to the consumers via gas prices, no I want every single voting American citizen to call and demand that they allow us to drill right here at home.
<O:p</O:p
Now I know it will take ten years for it all to become fully operational but if we had manned the phones ten years ago I would not have to be writing this and I would not be seeing gas prices of $3.24 per gallon and I say ENOUGH!!!! We are sitting on oil here at home that we could be using but because we the people have not called them and demanded they allow us to drill for our own oil we are having to pay out the rear to overseas companies many of whom sponsor terrorism it is time we the people took back our country, lowered our dependence on foreign oil and I do not mean by driving a eco friendly car I mean by picking up that phone and yelling as loudly as we can that we want to drill here at home.
<O:p</O:p
Now there is one more thing I would like people to do, I think it is only fair, we have a problem of not having anywhere we can effectively turn in companies who hire illegal immigrants or tell anyone about illegal immigrants in our own back yards so I am suggesting that everyone call 1-866-340-9281 and report it to either senator Kennedy, Senator McCain or Obama, or Clinton I think if we swamp them with phone calls reporting the information to them they might start to get the picture… So tonight I ask you to call 1-866-340-9281, on Monday and demand that they allow us to drill right here at home and if you wish to report illegal immigration information call that number as well. Now I know they might get snooty with you but I also know that with enough people calling daily they just might start to hear us and maybe just maybe we might get something accomplished.<O:p</O:p

Do you realize how many jobs we could have here at home if we suddenly decided to drill here at home? Do you realize the effect that it would have on your thinning wallet, the senators do not understand that the American people are hurting simply because most of them are not poor working stiffs like the rest of us so we need to raise some hell, we need to lay down the gauntlet, we need to stop the bleeding and simply signing an email petition is not going to do it. You and I flooded the senate with phone calls, faxes and emails and we made our voices heard, it is time we are heard again, it is time they worried about the tax paying American citizens more than a few animals that might be disrupted if we do drill. The only way, and I do mean the only way we will ever end the gas crisis is to drill here at home simply because if we are drilling here at home we do not have to worry about being blackmailed by overseas countries because they control us at the gas pump. I am tired of being controlled by third world dictators and if you are then you need to call 1-866-340-9281 and demand we be allowed to drill right here at home, we did it before my friend and you and I, we can do it again.

Good start.

How about suing those groups who impeded drilling ANWR, for the economic damage they've caused? How about suing those groups who impede drilling offshore beyond the four states it's already allowed? 100% compensation.

How about suing those groups who almost destroyed the Nuclear Power industry. I would think 100% compensation for the billions those groups caused the Nuclear industry to spend would be a good start.

Greenpeace, The Sierra Club, and all the rest.

I know it wouldn't ever get paid, but it would at least bankrupt and destroy those groups permanently. It would also send a message to any other domestic group attempting to cause economic ruin on the USA.
