AP - 51 minutes ago SANFORD, Mich. - Amber Birdsall didn't have a long birthday wish list. All she wanted in exchange for turning 7, she told her inquiring mother a few weeks ago, was for her stepfather, Army Spc. Glenn Johnson, to return home from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he had been assigned since May.
If he has a little girl that loves him like that, he's not a stepfather, he's a daddy. :)

Yep. The titles of Mommy and Daddy are not earned only through DNA.

When I saw the title, I thought it meant the kid was hoping her mom would get married.

What a touching story. However,
During her birthday party on Sunday, she and her 9-year-old sister, Kathy Birdsall, pulled pink wrapping paper off a refrigerator box and gleefully discovered Johnson inside.:-|
They kept the guy in a box? How long was he in? Was the box ventilated at all?
