DEAR ABBY: I am 27, and my wife, "Marybeth," is 26. We recently went to my folks' house for supper. That evening a heavy snowstorm was starting and, because the trip home is 30 miles, we decided to stay overnight.
My old bedroom is upstairs, as are the rooms of my brothers, ages 25, 24 and 22. The guest room is downstairs. Because the room is quite small, and Marybeth said she felt a cold coming on, we decided I'd sleep in my old room.
The next day, while we were driving home, Marybeth told me she was glad I had come to her room after all and made love to her.
Abby, it wasn't me! She had mistaken one of my brothers for me in the darkness. We are all about the same size and build...

Oh please...... she didnt know it wasnt her husband. Yeah right! I totally agree with Abby, dump all of 'em, and have a serious sit down with the wife.

Speaking from experience...married twice....you know your husband....in all ways. You are going to know if it's someone else. She's right about the kissing if nothing else. No two men I've met have ever kissed the same.

In her response she mentioned the kissing :P Besides, I wouldn't have had to sleep w/someone to know it wasn't my husband...regardless of body size...just one kiss would have told me it wasn't him. The wife is lying!!

I think she is often taken for a ride. But in the event these people are real and that wife was taken for a ride by one of the brothers they are all incredibly stupid.

IF this isn't some kind of BS story that should have been sent to Playboy to titillate readers...that's a BIG IF....
The question that begs asking is...WHY DID THE WIFE tell the husband about the visit if she knew (in her heart) that it wasn't really him? Jealousy ploy (and nothing really happened)? Why did she insist on sleeping apart in the first place? Part of a plot?
I'm hoping this guy's chain is being yanked and that nothing really happened, she's just messing with his mind. I can't imagine any of the brothers ever fessing up on themself or another brother if it actually was true. The conspiracy aspect of it would come out and flatten the wife as well.
Maybe the dude could start feigning a phone discussion about divorce with an "attorney" in an adjacent room so that she could overhear that he's found evidence of her sleeping with a brother? Her immediate and only defense is that she made it up...because he can rightfully tell her that no judge or jury would ever believe that she wouldn't know the difference, even in the dark.

A few years ago in NYC a woman accused a man of rape. They did have intercourse, but the charge was dropped. Here's what happened.
It was about 4 am and the gal was lying naked on her balcony. She saw her boyfriend passing below and invited him to climb on up. Erotic stuff, you know, her all suited up and him climbing up the fire ladder and it's just like a movie.
After the act, she noticed that the guy wasn't her boyfriend. That's why she pressed charges. Thankfully, the judge who got the case had some sense and threw the case out.

This has to be a joke. This sounds very similar to a scene in the movie Clerks where the guy's girlfriend goes into the bathroom (mind you, the bathroom's lights didn't work) and has sex with a dead guy thinking it was the boyfriend.
I agree with the other posters if it's a real submission... either she is making it up to stir jealousy or she knew it wasn't her husband and felt guilty, so she tried to pass it off with a lame story so she could come off as the victim.
