When Berkeley decided the Marines were unwelcome invaders there were a lot of complaints a little outrage a couple of bills introduced in senate that to my knowledge have gone nowhere, but that is about it, now emboldened by the lack of any real action toward Berkeley POG is going to do them one better Tomorrow March 19th Pittsburg organizing group plans to evict the military recruiting station and cage the recruiters, yes you heard that right. Right here in the wonderful United States of America they plan to march on the recruiting station at 6:00 pm and evict the recruiters and cage them and the rest of America will get all ticked off for a couple of days and we will go back to watching TV or playing ball and forget all about it.

When Alianiss Morales slammed her van into a bus of school children killing four and injuring several others, people got angry they complained and when they found out she had been ticketed a year before they got outraged, it lasted about a week. When officer Nick Erfle was shot and killed in the line of duty while trying to arrest an illegal immigrant who had a warrant for his arrest, a few people paused but then they changed the channel, Four promising young lives taken at a school in New Jersey and the world rocked by the fact that one of the killers was in the country illegally, that lasted probably about a month before people decided they had heard enough. We have people trying to ban guns in DC and a judge in Kentucky who has decided a ban against allowing non citizens to carry a concealed weapon is way too broad and as such has struck it down, Obama’s Preachers spews hate speech from the pulpit and screams God Damn America and the media still refuses to air the whole thing, And still we have people who don’t want to get involved.

How many people do you think will be in Pittsburg tomorrow in support of our military recruiters, how many do you think will put down that remote and say enough? How many people will remember on election day that not just one of those people running for president but all three of them tried to sell out our country by giving amnesty to 12 – 20 million illegal immigrants, how many will remember that they not only tried to shove that thing down our throats not once but three times. How many will hear the words RACIST, NATIVISTS when they push that button, press the screen or punch that ballot? Being an American citizen is not a spectator sport, it requires that you be vigilant, it requires that you participate, participating does not mean simply watching the news, it means being informed, being proactive, not caring what they call you as long as they end it with American. You cannot make a difference by simply changing the channel, you must take some form of action, be it writing to your elected leader or calling your elected leaders or voting for those who care about your country.

At this moment everything it means to be an American is under attack, our military is being attacked on our own soil by people who claim to be American, our people are under attack by people who claim all they want is to be American, our electoral process looks worse than Iraq’s at least they know you only get to vote once. We have elected leaders who are running for president and are they talking to the citizens about what they will do, no they are speaking in Spanish to those people they think matter, we have Mexican truck drivers taking their English test in Spanish, we have people hoping to be elected by promising to stop the fence and promote more bilinguals and I have just one question for you, whose America is this anyway?
