Charlie Rangel – “American” Congressman

American forces in Iraq killed Saddam Hussein’s two barbaric sons in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on July 22, 2003. Most accounts of the incident depicted ferocious firefight that lasted for hours. During the battle, four American soldiers were wounded by enemy gunfire. In the end, virtually everyone who thinks clearly was thrilled upon hearing the news. In fact, all across Iraq, celebratory gunfire was heard and a chorus of “ding dong the witch is dead” comes to mind among many in the West.

But, for many leaders of the Democratic Party, it was apparently bad news. They were hoping for a Hussein comeback and now two out of the three great Iraqi hopefuls, the folks the Democrats were counting on to discredit America and the Republican Administration are gone. That being the case, you would think the Democrats would not display their disappointment. Unfortunately, that is not the way it is.

Charlie Rangel is a Congressman and according to his website, represents “New York’s 15th Congressional District which comprises East and Central Harlem, the Upper West Side, and Washington Heights/Inwood.” Charlie has been elected for 17 terms to Congress and is “ranking Member of the Committee on Ways and Means, Chairman of the Board of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Dean of the New York State Congressional Delegation.”

Charlie Rangel voted against a Congressional resolution supporting American troops in Iraq. He also recently tried to have the draft reinstated in an effort to thwart America’s quest to rid the world of tyrants and despots. Charlie Rangel appears to not like the Bush administration so much, that he is quite willing to trash America’s military and America’s president.

On FoxNews’ Hannity and Colmes show a few days ago, Charlie expressed his anger over the killing of Uday and Qusay Hussein. Charlie believes the killings were illegal, “We have a law on the books that the United States should not be assassinating anybody.” Charlie then went further, “when you personalize the war and you say you're killing someone's kids, then they, in turn, think they can kill somebody.”

Apparently Charlie, a member of America’s House of Representatives either spoke without knowing the facts, or chose to ignore them. According to FoxNews, the American forces in Mosul tried to take the Hussein “kids” alive by first knocking on the door and then “U.S. troops called over loudspeakers at 10-minute intervals for anyone else to come out. ‘Surrender yourselves or face harsh military action.”’

The people in the house chose to fire their weapons on the American troops rather than surrender. It was only then that the Americans fired on the house, “Those who had barricaded themselves inside responded with gunfire from the upper floors, witnesses and neighbors said.”

In any case, Charlie seems to believe that killing monsters is a bad thing because if you kill mass murderers, that may anger terrorists and enemy forces who in turn, will change their decent and civilized ways and become just as bad as America is. Charlie is in effect claiming he believes that America is the “Great Satan,” and the cause of evil all over the world.

Charlie seems to forget documented proof that Saddam’s “kids” are collectively responsible for raping and murdering children and of terrorizing and literally millions of Iraqis. Charlie wants all of us to believe that if America fights back and if America eliminates the real threats to civilization as we know it, America is somehow contributing to the hatred many people across the globe already feel about America.

Charlie doesn’t understand that it is people like him, American leaders who in effect aid and abet America’s enemies by damning America’s foreign policy and damning America for acting in her own self interest that is the real cause for concern, and not what America actually does.

It is not just a coincidence that in an article on WorldNet Daily where it was noted that Al-Jazeera News, a hate America news organization described the deaths of the two Hussein “kids” as, “killed in cold blood, in what was a crime.” For America haters, the end of two despots’ lives in Iraq was a sad day, and an opportunity to attack America.

Charlie goes even further than Al-Jazeera and claims that having two less miserable and horrid murderers in the world is not something to be happy about, “How can you get so much satisfaction that two bums have been killed? We got bums all over the world and some in the United States.”

Apparently, at least for Charlie, the concept of relief and satisfaction is as foreign a notion as being proud of America’s military and country is to Al-Jazeera. But, that isn’t enough of an attack on America’s accomplishments in Iraq for Charlie. He adds the following as his understanding of the assault on Saddam Hussein’s offspring, “I personally don't get any satisfaction that it takes 200,000 troops, 250,000 troops, to knock off two bums.” For Charlie, there apparently is nothing that our military does that he can be proud of short of open rebellion against the Bush Administration.

Hopefully, Charlie’s constituents have not been electing him to Congress because they too see America as the world’s bully, but rather because of his name recognition. We can only trust that his constituency will now have the real Charlie Rangel in mind when they go to vote next time and not just his name.

Charlie Rangel is after 17 terms in Congress, an American icon. Unfortunately, he is turning into an American embarrassment for many.

Charlie Rangel is a Castro- and Ortega-lover as well as a Saddam-lover. If he thought he could get away with it, he would probably join the Communist Party (if he hasn't already) and run as a Communist.

Charlie Rangel is what Al Sharpton sees himself as. Too bad - for both of them.

Rangel is one of the leaders of the congressional Democrats. When he speaks, it is the party line we hear.

Consider why a major opposition party would confine its arguments to disputing one line of the SOTU and bringing up the prohibition of "assassinating foreign leaders" when the Hussein Boys started the shooting. Representatives of each political party get only so much air time on these cable news shows, and they have to make the best of it.

Did you ever notice how, especially during Presidential elections, the party guys will give answers that don't even match the questions, but give out their "talking points" for that day? That's how important this limited time is, both sides will risk looking foolish and evasive in order to get their "message" out.

The Dems' spokespeople aren't all blundering into these things they say. It's a concerted effort; it's their "message."

That's all they got? No program? No proposals? No alternatives? No ideas?

Bring on '04! This is gonna be fun!

Its amusing how 'black leaders' use activator on their afros. You'd think Al Sharpton and Chucky R would be proud of the cranial pubic hair God gave 'em, but they aren't. They actually prefer that crazy, white-boy televangelist look like they just walked out of the PTL network's headquarters. And then they slather on the goo, blow dry, braid and feather their 3 foot high manes into redneck mullets. Its strange seeing a black guy turn his head into a an extra right out of Grease 2. And Chucky, with that hair, looks like he could be the lead guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd. Either that or he bought a bad rug.

And secondly, I don't trust a black guy with freckles. Its like he doesn't have enough soul to be a real brother. God didn't even give him enough melanin to be authentically black. He's an imposter. Chucky's mottled complexion is so bad he looks like an Aids victim. He looks like he's got lesions or mumps. And the dude always gets huge sweat rills under his pits when he's on Larry King. And his hairline looks like an old toilet sponge soaked in oven grease. The boy's just moist, like an uncooked brownie. He's like a wet frog. And he's fat. Dumpy in the shorts. Always wearing brown suits like something out of Merv Griffith. A Jungian archetype of a Hollywood Square contestant. The epitome of 1970's colostomy bags. The constipation and warty anuses of sick, hyenas like Bert Convey, Cloris Leachman, Don Rickles. People with thick, advanced hemmoroids blocking the natural egress of digestion until their pores swell with rot. People who marinate in your living room after Thanksgiving Day dinners emitting 2 hour old gravy farts. Leftovers in your sink, their plates agglutinating with mash potatoes intermingled with cranberry sauce, yams and jello mold with cigarette butts snuffed out in 'em.

Cucky 'Cheese' Rangel is something right out of the Muppet Show. He could co-host with Paul Williams in-between the Sally Duncan commercials. The man ain't got no Harlem in him. He's not cool enough for Harlem. He's a dumb, fat man who thinks entirely too highly of himself. And for that, he shall eat slop with the pigs.
