I don't know about you, but I don't think the skipper cared much for that stunt.

I can just about guarantee you the "brass" had a fit, once the errant flyboy returned aboard. He hazarded his aircraft, himself, and (most importantly) his crewmates and the carrier.
He was "Hotdogging".... pure and simple.... and I don't think I can honestly say "I approve" of what this aviator did. They're supposed to be warriors.... not college boys pulling pranks.
