Anyone notice kids from the ages 12 to around 20 just with their, desensitization? Today we were outside after lunch, there were like 10 of us, and they were talking about movies, Hostile 2 came up in the discussion, I just kept sitting there but no one really talks to me I'm more of an outsider. I was just listening and sitting the things that these kids see, its just disgusting. Chopping off fingers body parts and stuff? So okay, thats as far as I'll go to even listen to I'm kinda disgusted by that. So then they get tired of talking about Hostile 2 then they start talking about some other movie which I don't know how they got this or where they did, they were talking about a lady in a movie with a boner sticking out and breaking her pants. These are kids like 12 - 14 I'm sitting around and I'm just like, you guys are messed up I just had to walk away. Before that at lunch a buncha these know everyone in the area kids are talking about who smokes, who doesn't who smokes weed, who doesn't. I'm astounded at how much these kids know, what they do, how they do it. They're talking about smoking, and smoking weed like its cool or its a more mature thing to do. I'm not going on a rant about people who smoke, I'm like just amazed at how kids are, this is what happens with society, I KNOW a lot of it is the music, such as rap. I dare some of you guys to go ahead on youtube and look at some hardcore rap music videos. It's not right. I'm not talking about so and so's kid. I'm saying a lot of kids, are.

Guys do that a lot. I watch a lot of gory horror films and I do discuss them over lunch sometimes. I don't like for the gore, as I've said before, I like them for the sheer suspense and horror. Sometimes, gore can be scary if it's used right. Hitchcock knew how to do that. So does John Carpenter (The Thing, The Fog, Halloween, etc).
I've noticed that a lot of typical guys in their youth love oozy, disgusting, and dirty stuff. It's normal in a typical guy.
I'd rather have them watch violent horror films than be over-protected like a lot of other kids are. In fact, the guys that do watch that stuff, turn out to be normal. It's nothing to worry about.

The weed smoking issue is something to worry about. Are they actually smoking it? Or are they just trying to fit in by saying cool stuff about it?

I'm pretty sure they're at least not lying about the smoking not sure bout the weed part. But some of these kids are like decent people that need a wake up. I'm not saying be over protective, I'm saying they don't know the difference of things and what not. It's not only guys, its the girls, they were talking just like the guys.
