Residents of the Iron Range and other parts of northern Minnesota are digging out from under at least 2 feet of fresh snow.

The grand prize for the most snowfall goes to Virginia, Minn., where 32 inches piled up between Friday night and this morning. More than a foot fell in the northern Minnesota community of about 9,000 people since Sunday evening, the National Weather Service said.

Yeah!! Missed us by 25-30 miles! We received not one flake of snow...25-30 miles south of us got 4"...120 miles east of us (Bemidji/Park Rapids) received 20" and 22" respectively...farther to the north and east from there got anywhere from 2 to 3 FEET.

And Minnesota signed on to a petition to require the EPA to regulate "greenhouse gas emissions"...well, no one ever said liberals were too terribly bright.
