An Italian woman artist who was hitch-hiking to the Middle East dressed as a bride to promote world peace has been found murdered in Turkey.
The naked body of Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, 33, known as Pippa Bacca, was found in bushes near the city of Gebze on Friday.
She had said she wanted to show that she could put her trust in the kindness of local people.

I would like to be an activist for war. Promote war. Fund war. Push war. Monger war.

We need more war. War would solve so many problems. Real, honest to God war.

Well I agree to a point. I don't like to think of war as a 'first resort; only resort' type mindset.

But then again, war should be an option when all other options fail. War is the only language that some people understand

There are a lot of effective things you can do to promote world peace, even if you're a liberal. Thumbing rides around the Middle East in a wedding dress are not among those that come to mind.

...when an oil well geyser catches fire only a bomb of sufficient strength can snuff out the flame. The mid-east has been like a flaming oil well for centuries and each US president seems amazed that pouring ever increasing amounts of water on the blaze does noting.

No amount of aid, sanctions, UN Resolutions, appeasement, negotiations or peace talks will EVER make any difference in the Palestinian/Israel fire - there is one and only one path to lasting peace - and that is all out total war where one man is left standing to raise their flag.

We have been pouring water in Iraq but the flame emanates from Iran, the well head where the bomb is needed to extinguish the blaze. Likewise the well head for the Afghanistan blaze is in western Pakistan.
