... Obama does fulfill liberalism's transformation since Franklin Roosevelt. What had been under FDR a celebration of America and the values of its working people has become a doctrine of condescension toward those people and the supposedly coarse and vulgar country that pleases them.

When a supporter told Adlai Stevenson, the losing Democratic presidential nominee in 1952 and 1956, that thinking people supported him, Stevenson said, "Yes, but I need to win a majority." When another supporter told Stevenson, "You educated the people through your campaign," Stevenson replied, "But a lot of people flunked the course." Michael Barone, in "Our Country: The Shaping of America From Roosevelt to Reagan," wrote: "It is unthinkable that Roosevelt would ever have said those things or that such thoughts ever would have crossed his mind." Barone added: "Stevenson was the first leading Democratic politician to become a critic rather than a celebrator of middle-class American culture -- the prototype of the liberal Democrat who would judge ordinary Americans by an abstract standard and find them wanting."

Stevenson, like Obama, energized young, educated professionals for whom, Barone wrote, "what was attractive was not his platform but his attitude." They sought from Stevenson "not so much changes in public policy as validation of their own cultural stance."

Osama HUSSEIN Obama and the Bitch Queen are cut from the same ultraleftist cloth. She's just more adept at lying and deceiving than he is. On January 20, 2009, one of them will be sworn in as POTUS #44. Combined with a Congress that is 100% RATs and RINOs, America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, will cease to exist.

I don't think THE BITCH is more adept....more brazen maybe.....but adeptness at prevarication is an inbred quality to any of those that have attained "inside the beltway" status. Most humans would be mortified to be caught in any of the lies THE BITCH has been guilty of telling...but she(?) just keeps on rollin' without admitting to anything and showing not a scintella of shame. Water off a duck's back to her. And NO, neither one of them will be POTUS of MY country. As it stands now, I have gone through several years now without a President, and I have a feeling......nay I KNOW that those years are about to continue adding up.

McCain gonna be next prez.Don't count on it. The DBM haven't yet gone into full hate-and-destroy mode. Once the Denver farce selects a traitor fascist RAT candidate, McCain will be the focus of a 24/7 assault of loathing, venom and demonization that will be unprecedented in US history. Those bahstids would support Satan over a Republican.

All true and as we've seen, McCain lacks the gonads to sling it back at them. He's counting on Bill, Sean, Mark and Ann (the very ones he attacks) to mount the counteroffensive in the mud trenches while he (McCain) remains above it all with his uninspiring "straight talk express".

It's hard to get behind McCain when he doesn't stand up for himself and it's clear he doesn't embrace the conservative message he speaks.

Possible, but highly improbable.

Welp, by my reading, it's highly improbable that either the racist (hence Nazi) Communist candidate OR the sexist (hence Marxist) Communist candidate will win because each is cordially loathed by 20% or better of the Communists who favor the other Communist candidate. That leaves the socialist candidate to pick up the winnings.
