Oh no. He was looking so good lately, too. I hope he's able to fight this as well as he fought the last round.

As much as I disagree with much of the man's politics, I hope that his last few months (and I'm afraid the odds aren't good on him surviving this) are as comfortable as possible.

Alice Roosevelt Longworth: "If you have nothing good to say about anyone, come sit by me."

I wish Arlen Specter a peaceful, painless end, if that's what it's coming to.

Past that, I have nothing good to say about the man, so all y'all who feel the same can come sit by me.

I didn't care for a lot of his stances but he was instrumental in getting Clarence Thomas confirmed to the SCOTUS.

That's me sitting down BTW. I wish the man no harm and hope he has found Jesus before he passes. Having said that, I can't think of any good he did for the country. Maybe someone who knows him better can point out some.

I've disliked him since the day he got Ira Einhorn released OR, after killing Holley Maddux and stuffing her body in a trunk.

Never forget, Arlen Specter was the one and only reason that Einhorn was able to stay on the run from Justice for 20+ years.

As far as I'm concerned, it was downhill for Specter from that day to this.

I don't like him.

For nearly eight years, he's stabbed GWB in the back and kissed Lib Ass at every turn.

"NO ONE comes to the Father, but by me..."

YES, I hope he finds Christ before he draws his last breath...other than that, I'm with Lubbock on this one.

I'm pullin' up a chair alongside Lub. I can't think of a single good thing to say about Arlen, the Specter of Communism.

I hope he recovers. i like the man a lot. He's a Senator of principle, one of the last, and he believes in the law and that goes a long way with me.

I suppose anything is possible. I doubt a 78 year-old prominent Jewish figure in politics would change his faith at this point, though.
